Bring Faf back at scrumhalf

Van Zyl has been called into the squad after Paige was declared unfit. He is a decent provincial player. But this is the moment to bring Faf back.
It would have been hard to break the Paige/Morne combination, but for the injury. And one assumed Hougaard would start given Paige wasn't available, even though he fumbled at least once in his scrumhalf stint. Still this may have more to do with who is on the bench....Hougaard is the likely starter.

But we need some context. We are playing the ABs who have been a league above for a few seasons.....reliable is not going to be enough. Faf had a bit of a mare against the ABs a few weeks back, but he is a game winner as we saw against Ireland. The motivation to right the record will be there. And he will be better with a decisive player outside him.
I would start Faf against the AB.

 Sounds like Faf is starting and PVZ would be a backup in case either Faf or Hougaard gets injured.

He won't be unprepared this time.
