Quota player is the first quota player for a SA team.
Time to bring the first white captain to the SA football team. Time to transform football.
Quota player is the first quota player for a SA team.
Time to bring the first white captain to the SA football team. Time to transform football.
Still no white captain for a SA team.
It is not possible to imagine that SA people on this board keep whining about bringing transformation to football when SA football teams had more white captains than SA rugby teams had quota captains.
2 white players who captained the SA football side would blow up the SA tale told on this board . Only 2 since there has been only one quota captain in the history of SA rugby.
Nope, it cant be. So the correct answer is zero white captain.
Bring transformation to SA football. Bring the first white player to captain a SA side.
Neil Robert Tovey did not need the Quota to assert himself.
He is not an African. Stop letting him troll you.
Sad tosser.
Despite the inadequacies in how Banana is run, they'd fare much better were they to qualify amongst the South America teams. They are quick and skillful, but lack height and size. The central, Eastern, Western and Northern Africans out muscle them. Banana can push teams like Spain et al much closer. A few white brutes in midfield would help them achieve some level of parity. Taking advantage of the ethnic diversity in the country rounds out one's game. Look at the Boks, All Blacks, Wallabies, England, even Wales at times. The Boks are actually a highly successful model of ethnic diversity as it is right now. The Banana Banana are a spectacular failure and they reap the rewards of a most backward and stunted ideological view of race relations. Ende.
remember Mark Fish
Banana can push teams like Spain et al much closer.
Incredible stuff. No limits.
SA football is terrible not to say another word. Football allows many expressions and african teams play football according to various strength. SA football does not perform because they are crap. That's all.
They cant push other african footballs that know so many funding issues despite SA being a bigger economy.
They can not push a football like Spain. Spain f team would mob the floor with SA football.
No country that made the choice of pushing rugby as their first sport has a good football team.
SA chose to make rugby the first sport. This was an uneconomic decision.
Rugby is a drain on SA. It brings nothing but troubles.
The Boks are actually a highly successful mode of ethnic diversity as it is right now.
And SA football team could push the likes of Spain too. No limits.
Tale after tale after tale.
Banana have beaten Spain already and almost beat them again in the Confederations Cup, going down 3-2 in extra time in the third place playoff. This is a team that has beaten Brazil too. How then do they struggle against Angola, Burundi, Mozambique and the other big African nations? Their game can be held at arms length. Ergo, their fleet footed short passing game would be more suited to South American football.
Trad, if you're going to talk about Banana. At least do a little research.
They beat Spain in 2009 1 0 in SA (preparations to host WC 2010) (altitude?)
This Spain side was beaten 2 0 by the US during the same tournament.
The comment about their supposedly not adapted style does not belong to football.
In football, squads play to their strengths and win when they are good enough.
Plus Brazil do not play like Argentina that does not play the same as Peru or Mexico or Chile or Venuezuela or Columbia.
SA football team struggle against any team because they are crap. They have no player.
Liverpool has two african players worth millions. They are both reported as 1m75 tall and weighing 69 and 71 kg.
Nothing peculiarly imposing.
Countries that pushed rugby as their first sport do not grow good football teams.
SA wanted instant gratification and turned to rugby, a much less competitive sport. Beside, african nations did not play the game.
Political decision that saddles SA nowadays.
