The British Lions team to play the Force on Wednesday:

Replacements: 16 Tom Youngs, 17 Mako Vunipola, 18 Matt Stevens, 19 Geoff Parling, 20 Toby Faletau, 21 Ben Youngs, 22 Owen Farrell, 23 Sean Maitland.

Quite a few of the expected test starters named in that team. I suspect Gatland will mix and match the team for the first few games but I expect the test team will be very close to the team he names to play the Waratahs on Saturday 15 June as after that it'll be the dirt-trackers playing in midweek and the test team playing in the Saturday tests.

From a Fantasy Rugby point of view, I'm also interested to see the Force team for Wednesday. I suspect they'll put up their best available team against the Lions and some of those players might be rested on Sunday 9 June when the Force play the Waratahs in the S15. I also doubt very much if the Force will name their team for Sunday before the deadline on Friday morning which will make selections for this weekend's S15 games very tricky indeed.

Well I hope the Force are at ful strength and give the Lions a lot to think about.

Those uppity pom commentators in the baa baas match were a lot to swallow. Wallabys need to send them packing!

Rooinek and oi-matey

I don't think the Force will use their full Sper 15 team and they also have some players in the Wallaby set-up in any event.

I tried to see how far I can get with the Test Rugby squad and fot somewhere near nowhere.   Bu buying all the Lions players minus the locks and one forward - I found that my balanc for 5 players are just over $1 900 000.   That to get three players in is a virtual impossibility - unless you buy three very cheap Western Force players.   Hope we get that team before the match and it is recorded on the testrugby site - so that we can make the changes.
