Outside of the tests,its becoming a frequent event that the British Lions play lopsided games against teams from the country they are touring,who lack any form of genuine depth.Stadiums are empty,TV viewership probably not that high either.
How about,as a counter to this problem,the 5 SUper teams from whichever country the Lions tour,all can draft players from the other 2 countries Super Rugby teams in this off-period of SUper Rugby,from all the players not picked for the national sides. I'm sure the players from the Crusaders,Blues and CHiefs who haven't been picked for the All-Blacks could strengthen the Force or Rebels with a couple of draft recruits,in something similar to the way cricket players get snapped up by English county sides or various teams playing in the different T20 leagues. Extra pay-day for players,opportunity to be part of a Lions tour,chance to send a message of national coaches with a strong performance versus an international team
