With the Brimbies most likely to top the Australian Conference log come the June test window things are looking quite good for them.

In all likelyhood not a lot of players from the Brumbies that are going to play for the walabies in the june test window. This will mean that Jake White's team is going to be one of the most well rested teams that have a shot at the playoffs. Might this count in their favour?

Good point, and even without the added rest most of their players will get during the test window, they are one of the best teams in the competition. So with the added benifit that they'll have from being fresh from the test window, you're right, they may well be title contenders. Put it this way, I am glad the Bulls don't have to play them again. Well done Jake, now come coach in SA!

My guess is Jake is perfectly happy coaching elsewhere......making a fool of the thick South Africans who couldn't see his quality.

I have in the past always thought Jake was a good coach, I however was never one of the Faithfull if you put it that way. I was not one of those guys that believed him to be the alpha and Omega. Look he has made some bad moves during his coaching career fristly with the boks (oh I remember the 4o something drubbing at the hands of the Ausies) and secondly with his Coaching stint at the Lions (hell that was a mother pearl). I expected the beginning of the year that we will now only start to see if he makes it or not, As he had a no hope side to start off with and they are actually going somewhere.

Something to take into account though when we speak about Jake white, and something that i always thought was quite important. The guy is a teacher, and is seems that all sides that do well under him are sides with Younger guys in them, just a thought, He built a young bok side up, had young guys at the Under 20's and now he has young guys at the Brumbies.

So yes he is impressing me here with a no name team. Still not a true believer though. I will forever remain a Kitch man :)
