Simply by the name on this forum I am sure this post will elicite some emotional response.

The reason for such is that the Reds are playing the Crusaders this weekend which I am led to believe to be officiated by this scoundrel.

Lets see how many times:

*Bryce calls penaties against the Reds within kicking distance vs how many times against Crusaders

*Bryce ignores line ball decisions re Crusaders but blow marginal calls against Reds

*Gives a numbers of inconsequential calls for Reds early in the game  to show his 'impartiality' but later in the game will allow crusaders to dominate and hand them kickable penaltys.

*Allow Crusaders to repeatedly infringe in the red zone with a smile and pat on the back to old mate Kieren & richie...

I think what this shows that instead of being able to focus on what could be fantastic spectacle between last year's finalists will be dominated by a egotistical snide of a ref who on all accounts has a shockingly biased track record.

As much as it pains me to state -I can only see crusaders winning this on the back of Bryce's bias.

Bryce is not the best of referees and does at times get a bit of whistle fever.  However I cannot see how a referee could be point-blank cheating.  A ref can only blow (or not) what is in front of him.   These days with two ARs running the lines he is under scrutiny all the time.  If for any reason the AR should differ from him, why the hell do they not speak-up.  If there is a conspiracy then all four officials should be in on the “deal”.

The players are the ones dictating the whistle, if they do not transgress the laws then the referee has no cause to blow his whistle.

As for the particular game:  The Crusaders will win, simply because they are currently the better team of the two; and that will be the case immaterial the name or nationality of the referee.

I do appreciate your very real concerns Redsman. You have to hope BL will try a bonkers and blow the crusaders up to try and resurrect his ref career which is in tatters dispite his being honoured as nz ref of the year!!  How did that happen - can anybody explain that?

As for the possibility of  a nz conspiracy well is a well nigh certainty.

My problem though is that we have been sucked into it - the Oz refs as well. Explain to me how those Bob Dwyer stats re the 43 penalties and 1 yellow re abs 7 penalties and 1 yellow for oz and 6 penalties and 1 yellow to Boks could ever arise. It would have to be with our refs in cahoots? Explain Craigs performance in the wc final!

These are appaling stats and highlight the extent of the problem. I think both Oz and SA think nz are their particular rugby buddies and favour nz but go for eachother. NZ go for both Oz and SA. Otherwise how else could these stats arise?

Dr Moz might have  a mathematical explanation for these hugely disturbing stats?

Redsman, hats off to your effort in trying to put logic to the most incompetent of apologies as a referee.....because thats  all he is....incompetent. Lyndon Useless Bray has been sheltering Bryce for a while but he too has realised that one cannot defend the indefenceable. We've had some shockers over the years...Dickinson and the Kiwi alcoholic now Oz resident Steve Walsh, but Bryce is the worst by the bottomless pit.

If there is one thing I hate - it is to see how a referee determines the winner of matches.  I want to see performance - not refereeing debacles.

redsmans obvious attempt at building sympathy for the reds expected loss, by posting an article with a title aimed at stirring up the locals IMO is both laughable and poor taste, but i love the lack of faith he has shown for his team, by ambiguously implying that bryce lawrence will cheat for the crusaders who are 6th, playing at HOME, against the reds who are 9th and have not beaten the crusaders in christchurch since 1999.

i dont blame redman for the bitterness and the impending defeat that the reds are facing and we are both expecting,  just take a look at how shit the australian confernce is and how fortunate australia teams are to be able to compete in it.
brumbies the aussies best team should be sitting 6th, but the PC pick the fat OZ kid rule means they get to roll in 3rd, watch the ludicrous result of the brumbies/waratahs game (not the game itself, unless u suffer from insomnia), and if the waratahs win, they will jump from 8th to 3rd, what a joke.
a format like this which rewards participation and not achievement should be abolished, but adds a lot of light to such a post, after all, this plus the fact that his reds are clear underdogs this week adds to his misery, so i dont begrudge him for such a silly unsubstantiated article, hes an aussie reds supporter and hes got enough problems of his own.

@ Sasukeuchiha. LOL!  Yep, Its a joke how the Aussies get piggy backed into the top 3 and automatically usurp far more deserving teams.

Brycie ref'ed the Crusaders- Reds final last year and noone bothered complaining about that result.  The Reds are an average/middling team at best and this years tourny has shown them up for the one hit wonders they really are. I have to laugh now when reading old archives where Ewen McKenzie was being touted as a coaching genius. lol!

The absence of Queenslands NZ imports clearly illustrates how vulnerable their team actually is. No Quade, No Digby, No Mike Harris and the Reds super campaign falls flat on its face. Only the vagaries of an apologetic conference system, heavily weighted in Australias favour, can save the Reds dream of retaining their super trophy.

Whatever Brycie does this weekend it couldnt possibly be any worse than Stuart Dickinsons dispicable officiating  in the 15th round farce between the Reds V Saders.  Missed forward passes and a dubious, manufactured penalty in front of the sticks all conspired against the Saders ensuring the Reds stole the match. Oh well, Im not writing the Reds off but I would be extremely suprised if they managed to squeeze a win against a well drilled and in-form Saders team.  Come on CRUSADERS!!!!!

C'mon Redsman, have a liitle more faith in your team cos there's nothing more I would like to see than the Reds whip the Crustaceans in their own backyard. Brycie will be under the microscope this weekend and will be his chance to prove us all wrong by showing he can be impartial. This is it, Brycie, do or die!

Green I tend to agree with you. BL will try to save his bacon. Another shocker and he ought to be a gonner. Besides, its not as if he doesn't know the rules or can't ref properly if he so chooses.

Love to see him try his stuff on an Oz side though - man can you  imagine the outcry!!!!! No he is too smart to try that surely. Its time now to secure his future. Have the ab fans nodding wisely and saying I told you BL is a good ref. The BL apologists will then claim the WC match was just a bad day at the office . Any ref can have an off day - be overcome by the big occassion etc etc etc

Hahahahahahaha its so predictable really. Beeno seeing through all the subterfuge with ease.

Absolutely SPOT THE **** ON!! This guy is a blatant bumbling incompetant CHEAT - who should be reffing under 13s - he is not welcome in my town - so that makes Australia and South Africa - not bad for a NZ ref of the year - absolutely disgraceful effort form Bryce yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All crusader points from penalties match stats prove that Bryce was the16th man - this is beyond a joke and simply ruining the sport.

7 penalties to 17 (Reds)

Of reds penalties only 3/7 in kicking range vs 6 of crusaders - match read that Reds should have won except for Bryce What a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!

Sack this clown now!

Redsman I only saw the higlighted package. Here in first half alone reds missed out on 9 points according to commentators.  Seems commentyators though reds were the better side?

It is amazing how the crusaders could only win by 4 points having 17 penalties to 7. It remings me of how they also won by penalties against us for so called offsides. Croketts shoulder charge on Genia was a nz classic as was Mccaw blocking a Reds defender. Mccheat is back!

No the day we get rid of cheating nz refs is the day the myth of ab rugby dies. But I see accross message boards the pong of nz tactics groes. Time you were stripped of wc its the right thing to do.

My advice to nz   cease all you nefarious activities rugby fans are onto your cheating.

Sitting bullduster, nuked and ou brycy remind me of laughing hyeanas baying at moon!!

To kiwinuke and other kiwis laguh all you like but the tide WILL turn and when it does your cheating tactics and rigged appraoch to RWCs will cave in and I will laugh my ass off.

Ps Cheifs visiting my town next week - and I've got hopes that young brumbies (who were cheated in both SA and v Chiefs) will be serious contenders this year.

Another thing - I really hope richie mccheat stays in the ABs this year cause he is old and slow andwith all the noise that your coutnryman and 16th player Bryce is receiving he wont be able to walk down the street in Asutralia or SA - pretty good for an international ref hey... anyway enjoy the staisfaciton of winning by cheating while it lasts....

For the record - Vinne Munro was running the sideline for Bryce and these two are undoubtedly the most biased pair of officials in the game today. Its really a sad day that refferees feel or team need their help to give favour to their chosen team.

For the rest of the season I would love to see both SA and what little Aust refs there are unite and penalise the crap out of the cheating whinging kiwis.

I must confess that the Crusaders were ably assisted by Lawrence, the second last penalty was either a blatant cock-up by the incompetent or bias, even the Kiwi commentators were horrified by Lawrence's call.

How do our resident Kiwi posters feel about Lawrence's performance?

This thread is getting funnier by tthe moment. We have Old Beenball, who has been on a crusade since the 2011 RWC QF between Oz ans SA about the cheating biased Bryce Lawrence. "He was biased, and he has allowed that dirty cheating idiot Pocock to get away with murder in the rucks....................." is amongst some of his accusations. "No ways, said the the Aussies, that was fair play. Sorry Saffers, you lost fair and square, Brycie boy was cool, all the way".

Now we have Reds supporter, redsman, who we are not too sure if he is an Aussie, but let's assume he is. Om redsman, starts of by saying something like: "watch how the dirty cheating lying biased idiot BL cheats us out of a win, in a game that we should, by all accounts win on a trott". Then they loose, as was expected, given the Reds' campaign so far, and he says: "You see, I told you so".

Let me make it clear, I have not seen the game, yet, but be that as it may, it is funny. This forum urgently needs a "Funnies" section, for sure.

It is in indeed windpomp and your post has added greatly to the mirth. Dan Retief a respected journalist of many years standing said he counted 5 times that there was hands in ruck in the Oz 22 and ou brycie did zilch about it.

In the highlights I saw three wrong calls by brycie mentioned by the commentators  nz oaks I guess cost the Reds the game. I never saw all the 17 to 6 (for reds) penalties.

Its so easy dealing with windpomp -  his hot air posts are hilarious! Bwahahahhahahahahaha what a buffoon!

Forget about the commentators. I have shown you on numerous occasions that they sometimes knows less about the laws than you, and that is frightening. Just this morning, during the IRB Sevens, a commentator was against questioning the legality of a try being scored becuase there was no downward pressure.

I am not and has never ever argued that BL did not make mistakes against SA, but I would like you to name the three incidents, and explained what you saw happening, and then quote me the laws that were transgressed.

You are the only fvcking buffon around here.

Even most Kiwis are miffed by this decision......have to say there are some bad refs arounds however this is probably due more to the game rules now being harder and more confusing for all to understand.

Bryce is a shocker and needs to go but like most things in rugby officialdom....dont hold your breath!

And he again had a shit game last night, but it appears a few other refs did also over the weekend

1. I am my own person living and working in Australia

2. Have watched and supported the reds for 30+ years

3. The original post here was on May3 - see how accurately it refects outcome of game

4. SA were screwed by Bryce @ the RWC but the Aussies copped Bryce v the Ireland game which also culminated in the Wallabies ending up on the SA / NZ side of the Finals. So Bryce was involved by Screwing aussies here too.

5. Think whatever you like there is serious corruption and HOLLOW HOLLOW victory for crudsaders yesterday thanks for cheating ref

6. Payback is a Byatch kiwis just wait till its your turn

@ Redsman. Your mate Stu screwed over the saders last season. So you're right payback is a byatch isn't it....

All jokes aside.... Reds played well but put too much emphasis on shutting down saders attack (which they did) and not enough on scoring points!! This negative game plan didn't do them justice and to be honest, saders had one of their worst games in years!!! Red's should have put 15 on them! Can't say that was all BL...

I agree he is a terrible ref but you can't differentiate between corruption and incompetence without proof. Untill then your argument has no weight and you just sound like a whinger.

In the meantime, suck it up princess. 9th!!! Deal with it. Start supporting the brumbies and thank the gods that NZ and SA agreed to this charity-like conference system :P

@Wfunston - clearly youre a tossa.

For  a start you even had bryce ref the GF last yr which he tried to screw us on. Dickinson in not as incompentant as bryce but I will not defend him.

Charity... ? considering how many kiwis sponge off our Australia - I would say you are either stupid or hypocritical - prbly both.

Reds were screwed end of story - sure made errors but ref WON that game for crusaders not doubt about it.

Just cant wait till ABs or crusaders cop payback.... and let me you assure you it will come.

Dickinson was a bad egg of almost of BL proportions. He could actually ref properly when he chose to.

The thing is it will take a united stand by decent folk in all three countries to speak out and put pressure on the powers that be to sort the mess out. Hence my criticism of bulle refs Joubert and Jonkers. That is why I concede that the French were shafted in the WC final. SA is NOT squeaky clean as I have repeatedly said. Howevere neither Joubert or Jonkers are as bad a Dickinson or BL were in my opinion.

St Beeno - a model of consistency and fair play!
