What happened to the Mighty Chiefs - they got a snot klap from the Force. Not surprising - those forwards of theirs are NOT up to standard.
Brycy - Brycy - Brycy
...not so clever mike have to credit the Aussies for doing something no other NZ franchise has been able to do....looks like with no centre as Aki, Ngatai and Fruean all out that Nanai Williams blew his big chance and needs to go back on the wing...
...but a bad day at the office for the Chiefs i must admit...good to see you've got Cruden in yr team though i noticed as he did'nt miss any kicks did he?...the Chiefs also missed Lowe on the wing as Muliaina did'nt do much to write home about..
...no doubt the Chiefs will reconfigure their backline and change afew forwards....Rennie is the master of analysis so i have no doubts he will sort things out for the SA tour so we can kick some yarpy butt..
Enjoy a Chiefs defeat Beeno & co. there won't be too many of them, lol

There is quite a lot in that piece right there.
"credit the Aussies for doing something no other NZ franchise has been able to do...." Are you saying that the Aussies were better than all the other NZ franchises?
"... looks like with no centre as Aki, Ngatai and Fruean all out that Nanai Williams blew his big chance and needs to go back on the wing..." Do I smell a lot of excuses in that part?
Sitting bull must be devastated!! Please coinvey my best wishes to him brycy.
.., Ceradyne if you smell something perhaps its time to have a wash mate...
...Are the Aussies doing better than all the other NZ franchises ? ...well you only have to look at the table to see the Tahs, the Brumbies have more points and the Force are equal with NZ's best on 14points...
...was disappointing....could have gone either way against the Force ...but only a three point ball game.. reading all my mate Sasus negative comments though i think he might've had one too many...it was'nt that bad but the Chiefs got burnt this week...
...our backs lacked the ususual attacking prowess and were found wanting compared to previous weeks so we need to analyse rationally what is different...no problems, only solutions..
...the Chiefs have a culture of no excuses so you won't hear any out of coach Rennie...

The Chiefs have very good loosies - but when they are drawn in to play tighter because the tight 5 does not do their work properly - the attacking abilities of the team seems to go into serious decline.
They do not have that problem when they play New Zealand teams. None of them - bar perhaps the Crusaders -have decent tight 5 forwards. In New Zealand their loosies can play a more expansive game. When that is remove much of the attacking play of the Chiefs is gone.
I am not overly impressed by Cruden - much more so by Barrett - and even Hickeyy is really a better flyhalf than Cruden. When Cruden gets the ball in space he looks very good - when under pressure he goes to pieces - sad to say.
The Chiefs are coming to SA to play the Bulls and the Lions - they have a 20% chance of beating the Bulls and the Lions game will be 50-50. Two further losses will take them out of the top 3 - so their supporters must really hope for a miracle.
..not so clevermike worrying about being knocked out of the top three is not necessary as the Chiefs are already sitting 5th equal with the Force and the Bulls...
...taking the positives out of the game, the Chiefs were right in it til the end with a great never say die attitude...they are the best NZ team on the table and winning our conference is still on the cards...but if you look at the Crusties and Canes sitting on 10th and 11th then our problems are only minor compared to theirs...
...i thought the Chiefs had enough posession in the game but the backs could'nt capitalise on that by breaking the line or running around the defence as per usual...
...so we found out what does'nt work and now i'm guessing you'll see a different Chiefs team playing the Bulls next week..Horrell will be back in the centres i'm picking and you won't see that backline ever again now that it's been trialed unsuccessfully...
