Ex supersport

Lock Flip van der Merwe returns from injury in the only change to the Bulls team for their crunch Super Rugby playoff against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday. (Vital that he did. Bulle at full strength now)

Van der Merwe, who has recovered from a hip injury that saw him miss last week's 37-20 victory over the Lions, replaces Wilhelm Steenkamp in the second row.

Steenkamp drops to the bench and CJ stander falls out the match 22.

So barring JJ its an all "Bok" side.  Come on bulle throw away the pink jersey so beloved of windpomp and play like men!

Vodacom Bulls team: Zane Kirchner, Akona Ndungane, JJ Engelbrecht, Wynand Olivier, Bjorn Basson, Morne Steyn, Francois Hougaard, Pierre Spies (capt), Dewald Potgieter, Jacques Potgieter Juandre Kruger, Flip van der Merwe, Werner Kruger, Chiliboy Ralepelle, Dean Greyling.

Replacements: Willie Wepener, Frik Kirsten, Wilhelm Steenkamp, Deon Stegmann, Jano Vermaak, Louis Fouche, Francois Venter.

if they go out and try to play rugby then they stand a chance....but if they play the kick and chase game the crusaders will slap then with 20 + phases attacking game and run them to shreds. no game is unwinable but negative conservative tactics will make sure that they never even give themselves a decent chance of winning it

With Werner, Dean and Jane in the team - they have NO CHANCE to win - and that is a fact

on paper they have no chance but its a good thing rugby is played on grass hey :) it wont be easy but they can do it if they have the right approach. if they pitch and they are submissive and playing conservative then they will be slaugthered

Bulle have to lay it on the line and scrap. Nz sides do not like the rough in your face stuff.  I still believe they have a chance and crusties win is not cast in stone. Odds do favour Crusties but if the bulls give it all they have who knows.

I remember the crusties battling to beat a very disrupted Stormers side who actually outscored them in tries. Eventually crusties won but only by penalties for our constantly being offsides.- another burgled game by the crusties.  This crusties side is a good but not a great one.

I am not sure why Greying always gets so many negatives he is not a bad prop.

Morne once again carries a heavy burden.

Go Bulle!!!!!
