They got told to f*** off mind you but it's really positive that they're aiming at that level - we need them back in SA, as well as Heyneke. They're good coaches and good coaches will create intelligent players.
Bulls approach Ackerman and Van Graan
APD
The Bulls must have tried to get Van Graan and Ackerman - but not Meyer. Why?

What's the point you're making Mike?
Maybe they felt Van Graan or Ackerman were more attainable, maybe they wanted someone completely new and who hasn't coached the bulls before.
Meyer may have lost his way at the end with the Boks but 2012/13/14 we were playing sound rugby. He made some strange decisions leading up to the world cup but it doesn't detract from his whole career.
I think that Meyer has some baggage relating to the style of rugby he favours and that does not work in modern SH rugby anymore.
Speculation, I doubt he'd be worse than some of the dross we have coaching our franchises at the moment
Van Graan has proved nothing yet. If I recall he was the forwards coach at the Bulls, but looked like a midget that has never played rugby.
Meyer is on a big money contract, and Ackerman is no longer welcome in SA for stealing all the players.
Why wouldn't they exploit their connections? It's logical. Maximising the resources available to them. You'd do the same if you were in their shoes.
