According to the attached article on News 24, Johan van Graan, the son of the CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, Barend van Graan, is going to replace Nolis Marais as Bulls coach at the end of the Super Rugby season. Nice Bulls, keep it in the family! Can anyone spell nepotism?

More of the same as far as Bulls performances next year I suspect.

Van Graan will bring nothing to the Bulls - they should go for Mitchell. He will get the players fit and start with a proper game plan for the Bulls.

Got lots of friends in Pretoria Mike. Just recently a young lady who works in a popular bar there told me about some Bulls under 21 players wanting to get in a fight with a guy for not speaking Afrikaans as he sat at the table next to them. They literally approached his table and told him that if he spoke English one more time they'd take him outside and give him a kicking. They then threatend the staff when asked to leave other punters alone.
The girl who relayed the story to me is a very close friend. She was serving both groups so witnessed this all first hand. IE not Chinese whispers.
There's a dog shirt attitude at the Bulls and the on field performances reflect that. Another broadband coach ain't gonna do them much good.

Please Plum no more rumor mongering from unknown sources etc. Sounds like fake news to me!

a fresh approach is needed- and nothing can be worse than the utterly useless Marais.
I would get John Mitchel- but he is hardly going to break his American contract to coach the Bull s hitters

Beeno the person who told me this was my girlfriend's daughter...who worked at Springbok bar in Centurion. She witnessed the entire event and told us about it the day after it happened.

Meyer Bosman's mother also reported a similar incident.

Three most difficult issues that are virtually impossible to resolve:
1. Getting a Democrat to admit that they are wrong.2. Attempting to calm a drunk dutchman who is looking for a reason to have a fight. 3. Fielding a Springbok team with the intention of winning.

The issue here has to do with the Bulls coach. I would not be surprised if Mitchell wants to return to SA - he has business interests here and would probably accept a coaching position - even with the Bulls.
He would soon enough get rid of the utterly useless at the Bulls and knock them into fitness and into a team spirit - which is totally lacking at present. He would also get some sense into the game played by players like Pollard and Odendaal.

You don't say, Comrade?
Who would have thought that that was the problems there?
