Bulls performance against the Jaguares

I was hoping to get an idea of the strength of the Bulls when they played against the Jaguares in a warm-up game yesterday.   The Bulls won the game 21-12, which to my mind is not a convincing victory - but there is a problem why a person cannot really from the basis for reasonable deductions.

The reason for the latter statement is that Mitchell - like many other coaches - uses warm-up games as a means to identify talent in the fringe players of the Bulls and do not use the front-line players to start in such matches.   The same happened yesterday - the starting line-up was made up largely by fringe players.    In the second half the Bull s brought on most of their key players that will ultimately form part of their team.

There is consequently not much which can be deducted from the match and the real test will come in 14 days time whn the Bulls plays the Hurricanes in Pretoria.

Ou maaaaike I don't usually criticize these things and warned you that you would make as ass of yourself by commenting on a spelling by Moz.

I know I am making too many typing errors and would like to reduce those in future.   However, I believe this is a rugby Forum and comments on rugby issues are more important than spell tests.

Mitchell hasn't put his best side together yet.

I think he has a pretty good idea of who they are, and we'll undoubtedly see further tweaks as the season goes on. Many of these players will become Boks later this year

We already know that he's planing on sticking to traditional Bulls rugby. I've seen a few sarcastic comments coming from the Kiwis regarding it ... but that's typical of them.

It would give me a lot of pleasure to see their most despised coach taking the Bulls to the play offs this season.

It's going to be a Bulls vs Lions final this year.

 suppose you are a Blues supporter and that brings me to the question about their expected performances this year,   They have over the last three to four years being disappointing to say the least so the question is - will they be any better this year?

I suppose we will have to see what happens in the first month of Super Rugby  aand I hope the Blues did better than they did last year.
