 The Bulls must have marked this as one of the games where they have their best chances of winning. The Highlanders lineout must allready be crapping itself.

The pack looks solid enough to carry the passenger matfield.

just curious but has the bulls always had thier other reserve prop wear No23??? the norm is always 17 and 18 is all.

IMO matfield has been good for the bulls, but it was reported last week that he would only play on tour if needed, and willmese fella plus flip have been awesome in their own right.
i dont think that matfiled is really needed for the bulls.

i think historically the bulls are the worst traveling team of all the saffa teams, and with games against the waratahs and force in OZ, this is the bulls best chance for a victory, but smart money says that SA will have to wait for the sharks to travel to NZ and OZ before they see their first away win.

GO HIGHLANDERS!!!

 Sasuke, I think the idea was that Grant Hattingh would be the stand-in lock, but the injuries to both Stegman and  Potgieter, saw Hatting moving into the starting XV as a loose forward. It was said, prior to their departure that Matfield would only play if required through injuries.

@ceradyne,

didnt take into consideration the looseforward injuries, only the bulls current lock stocks and 2 smoking barrels, )

while moving hatting into No8 is one option, the better one would have been to start jacques englebrechtt IMO.
jacques enlgebrechett was one of the spXVs best last year.

any idea when wimppie will be available for the bulls??? like englebrechett he was also one of the best loosies last year and would have been perfect for the bulls now.

 So nice to see Hougaard on the wing! Piet van Zyl is a great scrummie and his inclusion will give the Bulls a beter chance but im with sasuke on this one! The Highlanders are a little stronger this year and may just be too strong for the bulls! The bulls best chance of victory they blew with the hurricanes. Im afraid theres gonna be a lot of Snot en trane = snot and tears (from Afrikaans).
