After poor start great try by JJ. Hope Morne's boot doesnt implode!
Bulls versus Brumbies official thread
Bulle 5 points down. Some cheap late shots by Brumbies. Bulle still in it.
Bulle must bring on Vermaak. Its frustrating to see Hougaard not running at the Brumbies even once.
The much maligned Kirchner is having a solid game thus far.
Morne converts and Bulle in lead. Ntanga scrum going a bit better.
Go Bulle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the heck is potgieter thinking?
Just take the penalties at poles you muppets! Could have allready sealed the game. Now 74th minute, finally going for the 3 pointer
Try was way to easy. Looked like basson stepping up made the gap.
Man what a brain implosion by the bulle!!!!! Not taking those penatities. Weird!
Good points were the improvement in the scrum and the outstanding play of Jaque Potgieter - why sub a guy performing so well.
One has to note the more fair deal the brumbies got from the ref. Kiwi bird brains please note.
Mallet has been making a number of points. Scrumming improved when the stronger Callie Visagie came on. He says wee chilli is too small.(Please note snapster)
He also slates Craig Joubert who he says had a poor game. Brumbies prop was binding on the arm right in front of Joubert. He went as far as to say Joubert favoured the brumbies.
Mallet is an outstanding commentator. He argues his points very coherently and knows exactly what is potting.
I doubt the position of Alexander's arm had anything to do with the Bools going backwards.....Greyling and Werner Kruger were absolutely pathetic.
Moz it is illegal to bind on the arm. The video was shown where Alexander was binding illegally on Greylings arm right in front of the ref. It should have been a penalty to the bulle. Craig Joubert made anumber of mistakes. Mallert said having an Sa ref had done the bulle no favours. If we are not been shafted by down under refs we are shafting ourselves. Crazy really.
Mellet and Visagie made a huge difference to the scrums and won two scruim penalties. They also showed a clip where Nick White is it the brumbies scrummie put the ball into the scrum virtually under the feet of the locks with Craig standing there and watching. Mallet said Chilli was fine outside the scrum but was too light. I can only hope Allistair was listening.
Another point was Mallet saying that if the points differential was ;ess than 7 points at the closing portion of the match he didnt often make changes.
Mallet and Mitchell are outstanding when they discuss rugby. Its a pity you dont get to hear these guys. We used o have a lot of politcally correct platitude types. Campo was also giving the match summary.
@ beeno - 4x hometown saffa refs kept the bools completely in that game... credit to the brumbies for keeping it together till the dying moments - clearly the better team with ref calls at least 70% in favour of home team...
