 The Stormers must be somewhat confidence in his fitness. His injury Sabatical may have done him some good.

I think he was probably the favourite as bok captain until his injury, perhaps he will be back on the spectrum as bok captain. I think he is better than JDV as a captain, and has more carisma with the referees given his standing in the game. 

I expect Budget will play well, just hope he has not become injury prone/

My norm remains - if he performs well enough then he is a good selection as captain.   I am not sure that he would be at his best and he may be injury-prone as well.   Lets see what Super 15 this year produces in his case.

Hope he is successful - but we have other very good loosies and he will have to perform out of his skin to get selected on higher level.
