CAMB - yep quite correct actually it comes from many a kiwi having the "small country" syndrome... similar to "short man syndrome" we call it here in aust - "napoleon complex"... for the more educated...
I apply this to their culture as a whole particularly for the ones that do live in Aust.... I have some great kiwi mates though and the ones who I get on the best with are the ones that get over their sensitivities and embrace the self-deprecating aussie humour...
Aussies - yep we love to mouth off - but never take anyone too seriously... bascially if you go round thinking your someone important... be prepared to get knocked back a cog or two... in fact to a large degree aussie culture (blend of irish /english /convict humour I think) go out of their way to find someones weak point and make fun of it...
Beeno - re the politics here - yes many a kiwi use to come to aust and get free ride on dole and free everything... the rules have tightened up and now their hijab wearing horse toothed PM is whinging that Aust is deporting kiwi criminals back home.... how is this not a fair deal...?
Sadly though too many kiwis infiltrated the ARU's rugby $$ without having the same passion as us who grew up playing schoolboy rugby... as such tranny raelene is destroying the game beyond repair.........
