Why Kwagga a handy but physically challenged openside is being used as PSDT replacement Mostert was tried at 7 but failed so in comes the less physical Kwagga to replace him If PSDT is the benchmark for a Bok 7 then what the fuck is Kwagga doing at 7 Omelette please don’t bother giving us your ignorant input telling us how physical Kwagga is I’m struggling to understand the logic behind this selection - it obviously comprises us physically For me the obvious replacement from the start for PSDT was one of the du Preez twins

It's simple. The creatine twins are too primitive and one-dimensional.
They have been tested, and for the most part, have been average too poor.

They lack the all-around ability for test level.
Never could a back row at test level have 2 creatine twins, but even one is pushing it.

It’s simple Saffex. The Du Perez twins are just another example of your calling various Bok players either “the best in the world” or physical freaks” as you described the bog ordinary twins.

You seem puzzled when the coaching staff ignore your over hyped picks!

Harrassmus simply thinks Kwagga is more likely to contribute than the Deysel twins…..yes, that must be it.

Kwagga,s workrate is what gets him in starting team. Pieter is bigger and just as busy. Du preez brothers perform good for clubs but seem to under perform in bok Jersey. They are big and strong and more game time can’t hurt.

Kwagga is significantly more physical than Steph. Is he more so than Dan? Probably not, but he is effective. Kwagga is one of about three true positives this season: He, Wiese and Marx. Dan hasn't had much of a shot. His only real performance was off the bench, and he didn't put a foot wrong. He was powerful, especially in tipping a maul our way on his own which lead to a try. Play just didn't go his way. I still believe Dan will be our best 7, but Kwagga is performing very well. It speaks volumes to the inadequacy of the coaching Twizzle D and Dizzle Dum duo that they have resisted rewarding him. Steph is useless and worthless. Ende.

It’s going a bit far to say his useless. He is usually all over the park, good defense and good ball carrier. That he is off his game is true. Dan is good and should get more game time. They should alternate between him and Kwagga. Jasper is good cover for Thor.

PSDT must be the first World Rugby Player of the year to be "called" useless.

He is clearly a major loss for the Boks, with a phenomenal work rate .
And, like Kolbe - both are integral to the game plan that gave the Boks the success of 2019.

Steph's defence is a 4/10 on a good day. His carries are about 3/10. His skills aren't very good. He is the Damian of loose play; stupid and passive. Both fall for the same ploy each and every game every year. What does Steph really do well? As a ruck cleaner, he has the very occasional moment. He just can't give the Boks any sort of momentum. Steph wasn't 17th best flank of 2019 for production for nothing. At no point does the reputation match up with the production. Best in the world, but he doesn't rank in the top 15 for anything. Strange. If a player offers us nothing, he is ultimately worthless. If he makes the team worse in every phase of play, he is ultimately worthless.

Steph also has, by some margin, the most missed tackles of the José years. Even worse than those stats are the instances where he is cleanly beaten; they don't show up in the stats, and they are frequent, occurring in pretty much every test.

How do you explain then when springboks actually win games, he is a big part and usually plays full 80 min?

Steph plays a big part in wins, such as when? Can it be found in his 0.5m per carry in the World Cup final? Or his defensive blowout against New Zealand? Why can't his followers ever point to the production? He was crowned before ever doing anything, just like Lambie and Damian and the reputation persisted because of adoration defiant in the face of reality. Steph is a nothing in the Bok side. We don't need anything he does. Steph, like Damian, is just a body in a jersey. Nothing more. One of the reasons the Boks have played such awful rugby under José from game one till the present.

Kwagga is significantly more physical than PSDT bwhaaahaaa That is the joke of the decade Omelette you are 100% correct about Dan du Preez though The du Preez twins are better than any of Mostert, Elstadt, Wiese or the ridiculous notion that tiny Kwagga is a 7

Actually Dud Toit’s  win ratio as a Springbok is 55%, ….lowest I have ever seen.

One can’t make the argument we need this failed lock back with a straight face.

We were losing against the Lions when he was on the park….after he left we were well ahead for the remaining action.

Dud Toit win ratio 55%/ Boks over the same period 59%….Dud is a 4% point drag on the Boks when he plays. Cased bolted shut!

That would be very true if rugby was a one man game Mostert was literally pathetic at 7 and Kwagga will NEVER be a 7

So if it makes no difference…pick anybody. I think long term players who fall significantly below the team average can’t be ‘critical’ to the mission. Unless, as in Dud’s case, the mission is losing.

A player makes a difference to the performance of the team if he is better than the player he replaces as is the case with PSDT vs Mostert but given 14 other players are involved, that single player is not going to affect the outcome. With PSDT at 7 we get more go forward than with Mostert, we get more clear outs and more physical tackles. This all adds value but unfortunately does not prevent Pollard kicking a pointless cross kick for instance With PSDT at 7 we went from 7 to 1 in the rankings, won a RC and a WC - that’s not losing But we are losing right now - 3 in a row in fact - where is PSDT?

No we do not. Steph provides zero momentum. There is nothing Mostert does worse than Steph. You can berate Mostert all you want, but he is better than Steph in all phases of the game. End of discussion. We don't need this dead-end carrier who can't defend.

Where is PSDT….recovering from his clash with the Lions’wing.

This idea a single player doesn’t make a difference is nonsense. The Quaalude changed Australia’s fortunes when he replaced the kid.

Cooper was good but not defining by any stretch No single player dictates the outcome of games - yes that might happen once off but never consistently Rugby is a team sport, probably the ultimate definition of team unlike cricket or football

Unter-O weedling his way out of the facts that his pathetic little poster boys are duds. Steph is so integral to the Bok cause yet no individual is standing out and making those defining contributions. Is that why Steph has no production and doesn't occupy the top 15 in any category? The way you dance back and forth between positions and shift the goalposts is hilarious. The reason why I always win is that I do my research and have a consistent argument that holds up to video scrutiny and stands the test of time. Your's can't even stay relevant inside two posts.
