Can the bulle win the Super 15 title?

The chances must be very slim. We all saw how the second string Stormers pack worked them over. Imagaine if the likes of Tiaan, Malherbe, Bekker vermulen Burger. Allende (Starting) Taute etc had been in the mix.

The bulle away from home have little chance in my view. They are not the complete side. Only the double whammy of travel and altitude gave them a chance. Bulle fanatics like mean ou must accept the bulle as being really a mid team side. Had the Stormers and Sharks been at full strength they would  havelost three more games.

I am not of course like ou maaike saying they have no chance but a 20% chance maybe realistic?

Allistair is was three things. Top of the list was the injuries. Why did that happened? Secondly you selections at times were questionable. The balance between attack and defence went wrong although it did improve markedly this season.

I hope not. The Bulls are not our best side. I'm hoping the Cheetahs can take it to the next level. Beat the Brumbies away, take the Chiefs out down under and finish it off with a fine performance against the Crusaders.

 

Big ask ... but with the seaon they've had ... who knows!!!

 

Beeno Interesting question - however there are some caveats. Generally the New Zealand teams they can potentially come up has problems up front and are weak insofar as forward play is concerned - they definitely will not have the ability to dominate the Bulls - like the Sharks and Stormers did over the last two weekends. The Bulls have played both the Crusaders away from home - meeting them at home will be very much different. There is a chance though that the Bulls may have hometown advantage in both the semis and finals. I the Brumbies bear the Cheetahs - this weekend - the result would be a Brumbies semi against the Bulls at Loftus and a Chiefs semi against the Crusaders at Hamilton. I cannot see how the Chiefs can beat the Crusaders - even at home - bearing in mind their massacre in the last game - and the Brumbies will have serious problems in Pretoria. That may mean a Bulls Crusaders final in Pretoria. However, if the Brumbies loses on Sunday - the semis would be entirely different with th Crusaders having to travel to Pretoria and the Cheetahs playing the Chiefs in Hamilton. That would probably mean a home game in the finals for the Chiefs. However, in the main the outcome of the play-off games are not as easy s some makes it out to be. So any further discussion will only be realistic after Sundays clash between the Brumbies and the Cheetahs has been finished.
