Canada defeated USA this weekend 28-25 for our first of three test matches this June.
South African born, and Glasgow warrior Daniel van der Merwe looked dangerous all day for Canada. Our Fullback James Pritchard was 2 for 3 from conversions, and had 3 pg's, and our new Captain, and Plymouth Albion forward Aaron Carpenter scored the winning try with about 10 minutes to go!
Canada dominated the first half, then the USA really picked it up and Canada had to hang on to the very end to beat the them as they scored a try very late to make the game close. But we hung on and beat the big bad USA, again!! :)
Next up is Italy on June 16th. Probably going to be the toughest test for us. After that it will be a physical affair with Georgia.
