Was last night. There is an interesting correlation of results. SA beat Canada in the group stage 29 - 0. In the semi New Zealand beat them 26 - 7. The net difference was 10 points. The final end result was SA beat NZ 14 - 7 - a net difference of 7 points.
Where the upset was in the case of Canada was despite a much bigger net difference in points in the SA game against Samoa - Canada made up the difference after being 14 - 0 down and then ended up winning the match 22 - 19 - a massive achievement by any account.
