..sasu you gotta have more faith in yr team mate as they are indeed a force to be reckoned with.

Brilliant win tonight confirming perhaps that rugby power shift i was mentioning to the Nth Island . Hopefully Hansen will realise this and see it's time to start Cruden in front of Carter for starters... Hate to think what score you would have predicted hadn't you been such an avid Canes supporter sasu...

Time to back yr team to the hilt so please no more predictions like that last one mate..

Get a grip brycy they only beat the crusties by a point. Do remember the hapless crusties were whipped by the blues. Seems the Hurricanes were very lucky to snatch it at the death.

No wonder saSUE doubts his team.

Great win for the Canes but it' shows up the depth that is in NZ. They play the type of rugby that's pure pleasure to watch...the Sharks, Bulls and Stormers have a lot of work to do before we can truly and honestly get close to this...tight close rugby style may work here but it doesn't compete with this style over there.

They play dainty rugby. Frills and flashes. But lets wait and see how they go against SA sides. As that article indicated - then they dont look so good.

I only hope we get to see the Mighty Stomers at full strength this season chewing up wee nz sides!

remember the Dunedin and Twicks tests. Moer hom in the forwards and their backs fall apart.  We also need to get back to some sound offensive tackling - the type tha tmakes kiwis reluctant to run -That is why snapster and I are totally right about size. Wee ebersohn is never gong to worry anybody by his tackles etc.

Bean Brain even a half strength Cane side will cut yr team to ribbons - the Sharkies are extremely lucky not to be playing them either but looking forward to yr round 11 clash in NZ where they will rip you to pieces...

Brycy

As a lover of the game of rugby I looked twice at the Hurricanes-Crusaders game and came to the conclusion that I have seldom seen a game as bad as the one put up by both teams.   It was indeed a ga,e characterised by horrible ball handling and serious deficiencies by both teams.

There were way too many loose balls  lieing around all over the place s a result of bll handling errors and the defence was extremely poor.    If this is whhat is given out as good rugby and acceptable in New Zealand  as adequate performance by two of the maor teams in New Zealand - then they have real problems with rugby there.

Savea was really the only player of substaance that showed something acceptable - but even in his case questions could be asked about defensive deficiencies by the Crusader players,

Like the Hurriccanes self-destructed against the Rebels last week by making serious mistakes in the last 29 minutes of the game - the Crusaders did the same in the last 19 minutes,

I hope the good of New Zealand Rugby the Chiefs and Blues turn out differently and am looking forward to their matches this weekend.   The Highlandes are basically the rugby geriatrics team and I suspect the Ceheetahs will put up a much better show today than they did against the Chiefs - when they were poor and spiritless be cause of the effects of apparent  jet lag

not so clever mike...a team that can play like shit and still win is one to watch in my book...like the Chiefs the Hurricanes continue to fly under the radar and are underrated to the detriment of opposing teams that erroneously think like you that they pose no threat. until it's too late and they have become the latest victim...
