Cardanelli's TOW
Kwagga Smith looked anonymous to me. The rest of the contenders must have been crap for him to get the nod.
What about the other players he pulled out of the sky - must have been together with Silly Billy on Cloud 9:-
Hendricks, Vermeulen. Jenkins and Vermaak?
The above team of a week is a farce/ Hendricks, Mapimpim Vermeulen and Vermaak did what to warrant selection? Jenkins did well - but Schickerling was better,
Mapimpi is the best wing in South Africa. Hendricks has been playing very well. Duane was a warrior.
I must say though, the Bulls-Lions game was very short of quality. The Bulls were the better team but mistakes occurred too often. I have yet to see a truly good quality game from any team.
Silly Billy
Vermeulen - are yo u talking about 2014 or 2019?
Coenie has consistently been one of the worst players I have seen thus far. South Africa's very own Matt Dunning it would seem.
Silly Billy
You would not recognize a good game of rugby if it hits you in the face. Fact si your rugby knowledge is too near to zero to know bout the game at all.
Coenie was not up to standard and the fact that Vermaak struggled against him was telling. The ohe fact is that Mozart refers to the Tight head side struggling against the Sharks yet Malherbe scrummed Beast going backwards scrum after scrum.
Wish Kitshoff coming back soon - then we will be rid of the Vermaak deficiency,
And you watched the centers and saw zilch again and again, Watching Kwagga was like not showing any rugby acumen. Kwagga should go and play 7's rugby - he is not physical enough to play the15 man game, So why concentrate on watching him? .
Yes, a great example of the quality of Super rugby...
Lions: 15 missed tackles amongst the backs.
Bulls: 7 missed tackles amongst the backs. 3 by Sage.
Lions: 21 turnovers conceded
Bulls: 18 turnovers conceded
No Piss brain - how many tackles were made and what was the missed tackle ratio to start with,
