I really like the look of this guy, he reminds me of Joe v/Niekerk. He and Kolisi had great games for the Stormers against the Reds. So much for Kolisi not being able to effect turnovers - he managed 2 in the first half. Etzebeth was huge and Jantjies had a great game as did de Allende
Lots of communication between Carr and Kolisi. Carr and de Allende had looked out of it off the bench, but as starters they both had fine games. Jantjies for the first time looked fully comfortable in a Stormers jersey, we may have under estimated the impact of losing his father, so unexpectedly.
A spirited Stormers effort.
Carr was good. In my opinion with him, as well as Kolisi, consistency is what they struggle with. Every few big games Kolisi has, he seems to then have a dud. He has all the skills to be a very good flanker at a top level, but needs to put it all together every game.
