so who do u think should be leading the ALL Blacks in the 10 jersey and why???

i can see brycy shaking his spray can ready to tag me a pro saderite already, LMAO, but IMO carter should be leading us, the quantity ove quality argument comes to the forefront here and carter has been amazing every game for the last 3 months bar the semis when crudz showed him whose top dawg in hamilton.

for me cruden is the best attacking flyhalf in the world, i would rate his attacking game a 9.5 out of 10, this is based on his whole career though, not in 2013 where he struggled thorugh out most of the early rounds with a groin issue, but found great form when he got back into the full swing of things.

but carters all round game is the best in the rugby biz, goal kicks like morne, tactical kicks like du preez and merhtens, world class passing game and has IMO the second best attacking game on the planet, use to be the best until crudz found his super rugby and AB attacking groove.

what i do think hansen needs to do a lot more of though is trust in cruden over carter when the need arises.
i dont like the way hansen uses his subs in games the All Blacks are under the pump with, it screams we need carter to stay on the filed for 80 mins and i dont think this is true, he should just have a little faith on the sub by which i mean crudz, cos barret dosnet instill me with the same level of faith just yet.
hansen believes that a halfback cant play an optimum game after 60mins at top level rugby, considering the age of carter and the quality of cruden, he should be applying this to the 10 jersey as well.

in the 2nd test against ireland last year in the june test series, carter played the whole 80mins even though the All Blacks were under the pump and couldnt break the ireland defnsive line as easy as the previous week.
even though carter got the game winning drop goal which ensured the All Blacks victory, i felt that crudz could have added something at that particluar time which carter couldnt.
funny though, cos only two All Black players didnt get any game time in that game hika elliot and crudz, so maybe brycy aint so paranoid about hansens red and balck tinted glasses, LMAo, :oP

still will lokking very good for the RC and i couldnt be happier with the way we are progressing towards the RWC, with carter taking a sabatical next year playing only club level rugby, he will give his body a good chance to rejuvinate making him fresher for All Black duties.
i think carter should do a conrad and skip out on the EOYT and then only take of half of the spXV, that way we can give crudz a full run of the ship on the EOYT as well further expand on barrets game, plus give carter the rest he wants, but still enough game time top get him back into shape.

cant help but feel that McCaw would have been better off had he split the sabatical time he had off over the star of the 2013 and 2014 spXv seasons, and not the one big lump sum like he did this year.

Sas ... as far as I'm concerned, comparing ANY 10 to Carter is absurd.

That includes the young up and coming whippersnapper Cruden.

Carter is the benchmark of 10 play. Has been for the last decade

You are being unfair to Cruden.

There is NO comparison. Not even on attack.

Apart from the obvious skill he has, he's an inteligent rugby player and that in itself sets him light years ahead of any and every 10 on the planet today.

So to answer your question .... CARTER by a mile.

 yeah, i don't think it's really a contest.

Carter is by far the best 10 in NZ, probably in the world.

I do rate cruden and think his attacking play and quick step is awesome. That being said I think, when looking at the style of play of both players(carter in control in all assets vs cruden with his quick attacking burst) cruden is much more suited to play as an impact player than carter.

Therefor it's the ideal combination to have carter at 10 and cruden 21!
