Samwell Tarly - Just Win: Wise, unassuming and tries very hard to cure the less fortunate.

Joffrey Baratheon - Dumb Ass: A weak, permanently angry and thoroughly unlikeable little wankstain always snivelling about something while demanding that everyone pays him due respect.

Daenerys Targaryen - Cloudy: Carries herself with grace and dignity and generally says or does the right thing.

Theon Greyjoy (in his Reek form) - Dense: No balls, ill-bred, not very bright and sucks up to people shamelessly.

Ramsay Bolton - Moffie: Manipulative, deceitful, vengeful, sadistic and conceited.

Grey Worm - MicroChip: Has no d!ck to speak of but can be a tough customer in a fight.

Stannis Baratheon - Ou Maaik: Has a lot of enemies and never changes his mind about anything.

Khal Drogo - Saffex: Doesn't appear in too many episodes these days but caused a lot of sh!t when he did.

Sandor "The Hound" Clegane - Rooinek: Drinks a lot and nobody likes him but he calls a spade a f*cking shovel.

Hodor - Baboon-ou: Has the IQ of a pot plant and repeats the same unintelligible crap over and over again.

Petyr Baelish - Klown: Despised by everyone, always changing sides, can't be trusted.

Varys - bluebok: Tries to keep everyone happy and tries not to take sides but has a secret agenda. Generally does what he thinks is best for the realm/forum.

Ned Stark - Wardad: Extremely loyal to his own people (Winterfell/Kiwis), has a good sense of humour but liable to get his head chopped off at some point if he doesn't bend the knee.

Bran Stark - Ed: The three-eyed raven. Sees all and has control over the past and future of the realm/forum.

Bronn - xavi: Doesn't appear that often but always makes an impact when he does.

The Night King - TheTiredRacist (aka TheTraditionalist): Unintelligible and wants everyone to die.

We still need posters to play characters like Jaime Lannister, Jon Snow, Jorah Mormont and Tormund Giantsbane and I've left off quite a few posters so any suggestions are welcome. Has anyone here screwed his own sister?

Funny stuff, here's old Urinal a GOT groupie....doting on every character George Martin ever created. Carefully parsing through the nuances of each personality. Never realizing that Martin got his BS and his Masters from the "Kellogg's Cornflakes" university he has tried to ridicule. .. Why is everything this poor chap says so risible.....so doomed to embarrass him yet again. .... LMAOFY&Y!

Quite well thought up Rooiter. Had a good chuckle. A little disappointed I did not make the first draft, but that's okay. I like to hover just under the radar until it suites me to take off. People, how can any of you take this seriously? Its just a bit of fun.

I must admit though, I have watched the entire series and I still don't know the names of half the characters. What's the dwarfs name? He's awesome! Remember this prediction...I reckon he will somehow land up ruling it all.

bluebok, Wardad, xavi and Ed updated.

bluebok, the dwarf is Tyrion Lannister. I can't think of a board member who has his intelligence, his good heart and his humour so he hasn't been allocated . . . yet!

"A large pinch of salt, huh?"

Haaaaaaaahahahahahaaa!!

If you say so. I'm sure most of those you decided to slight took it as such. All light hearted fun.

Well ... the part that I do find rather funny is you selecting a giant of man, all slim and trim to represent you ... when in truth you should rather have gone for some big bellied lard arse with gravy stains on the front of his shirt ... or ... a self righteous, self serving wimp pretending to be what he isn't.

Say like Grand Maester Pycelle ... or how about the incestuous redneck type ... Craster ... or that chubby fat kid that gave Arya a wolf shaped bread.

Either of those would have have been far better options to your likeness.

Luckily we have an edit function on this forum so please feel free to correct that absurd selection of yours. It is by a long shot not well suited to you.

Let me help you ... it should read ...

Grand Maester Pycelle - Redneck: A self righteous, self serving, finger pointing wimp at loggerheads with most around him. Prone to lying, obtusity, cowardice, drunkardness, gluttony and self praise ... oh and "nobody likes him".

Hope I haven't missed anything ... feel free to include it if I have.

@Geez Bluebok, how can you not know Tyrion's name? I still haven't got as far as reading the books but one of the things that I find fascinating about the series, is that al those characters who looked like they would become the most important in the series have all snuffed it very early one. On the flip side, all those who almost looked like they would be unimportant are now the main cats. In the first few episodes, I got the impression that Robert Baratheon, Ned Stark, Catelyn Stark, etc, where going to be the main players. Then they all pegged one after the other. There was no way, in my mind, that Jon Snow, Tyrion, Danaerys, Sansa, Arya, etc, would become the be all and end all. Even Petr Baelish is a very important character. And, to top it all, most of the ones who died early in the series are still "playing an important" role so to speak. So they are actually still very important characters despite being dead. Clever guy, this George RR Martin.

Rooiaas you made a slight error here...Saffex is Dawie Die Kabouter....

lol but maybe you're right as good heart, intelligence and humour is a rare and foreign quality on this board.

Mind you this board can be hilarious at times but sadly this happens by accident not by design...riddled with mamparas and boneheads..certainly it is better in the humour department than in the rugby analysis and selection dept.

This series is too drawn out. It was good at first- but not enough character or story development. Instead, it has been about making as many episodes as possible.

Is that correct?

By my "opinion", the story did not develop fast enough- although it does have loyal fans and movie critics. Maybe I should start watching the most of to date series and skip seasons.

I can understand that GOT is not everybody's cup of tea but there is now way how you can make a judgement on it by watching parts of season 1 and a few episodes of season 2. I haven't read the books yet but I suppose I will have to get around to that. Should probably have read the books first, though. This is how I started watching it. Oh, and if you get bored of it, just skip past my post.
Every time I saw something on TV about it, I said to me wife that I cannot understand how anybody would want to watch this sh!t. Then I saw that my son had the box set and start taking the piss about it because I could not believe that he would be interested. He then told me that he also thought  that it was BS but he got curious to know what the hype was about. He then watched a few episodes and said to his wife that she should have a look. They then started watching together and decided to get the books to get he background. That was how they really got hooked. I then thought to myself: "Well if my son, who I never thought would watch it, became a fan then there has to be something in it". I then started watching right from the start. By the end of season 6, I caught up and I discovered that I still did not  really understand everything. I saw that there were a few YouTube channels about the series, where there were people ana.lysing it using the books as cross reference.
At this point I started to understand what the story behind the story really was. Of course there are quite a number of Wiki pages about the series as well. That, and one of the YouTube channels called The Last Harpy helped a lot and I just knew that there was only one thing left to do now. So I watched it right from episode one again. Fact is that there is no way that you can make out what is going on by watching episodes here and there. For instance it is only now, towards the end of series 7, that the real title of the whole thing, A Song of Fire and Ice, is really starting to come clear.
