Nope. There is no competition known as the Super XV. Its known as Super Rugby. Those other you mention have Super 12 and Super 14 titles. Different trophy different name so different competition.

Why did you not mention the Lions who won the first Super 10 title? The Super 12 is a competition expanded from it yet you chose to ignore that but here arguing that Super Rugby and Super 12 as well as 14 is the same competition. Wonder why?

i dont include spX cos it wasnt professional then, it was amteur rugby and if u were to go back then, u might as well go back to super 6 which is what super X evolved from and then even further to the south pacific championship which is what it was before super 6.
spXII is the most logical beginning point of refenrece cos of the pro era, but its also what SANZAR offically call the beginning super rugby era.

and i guess ur technically correct about the term super rugby title, but when i use the term super rugby, im talking about ALL of super rugby in the pro era, and if thats the technical case, then the lions have NEVER won a title, the cats did.

also if u consider the lions spX title a title, why are u poking fun at lions fans, at least they have won something.

So Sasuke we should ignore the 87 and 91 World CUp as well because it wasn't proffesional? So the first WC was won by SA and SA are the only team to win it twice.

1995 RWC was in the amateur era, rugby union turned pro for SANZAR countries on 26th of august 1995, but 1996 is when it was officially recognised around the world by the IRB.

1995 RWC was may thru june, u can connect the rest of the dots.

When was the Pro contracts signed Sasuke?  During the 95 World CUP. Otherwise there would have not been a SA and NZ rugby team to play each other in 96 as the World Corperation almost got all of them into a deal. The Kiwi's were more scrambling to get their players signed to NZ  than to bothert to move to Ellispark and get use to the altitude. Altitude is called food poisoning in NZ I believe.

keep ur knickers on and read what i actually posted, i never said i discarded the cats win in super 10 (BTW its cats, not lions), but when i say super rugby, i mean all the super rugby games played in the pro era which for the record SANZAR also recognises as super rugby.

my referernce of super rugby beginning at spXII is mainly because of the pro era, not cos im trying to ignore anything else.

as for the 95 RWC, believe what u want,  but i and the rest of the world know that the 95 TWC was played in the amateur era, stop wasting ur time trying to convince me otherwise, tkae ur beef up with the IRB and ever other rugby union in  the world including SARU and then we can talk on this matter.
but fact cannot be denied, 95 RWC was amateur era, its why that 95 RWC is commonly known as rugby unions last major event in the amateur era.
