I admit I was wrong with the Saints name - but then I am not tendering for the "s" in your normal designation yet. You are moving ahead fast.
The game of Toulon is on Sunday and I believe that omne will be telecasted locally as well. Will be nice to see whether Botha again manage to achieve a yellow card and whether the rest of the SA component in the Toulon team will be doing anything of real consequence.
I am surprised about your comments on Stade Francais. With your idol (Morne Steyn) having a contract with them it really is a shock to hear that you are not interested in their performancee. Is it because Stade is apparently trying to off-load Morne to another Club stupid enough to accept him?
I asked whether you have he ard anything about that one - but silent idiocy remains on your part.

You keep on trying to bait me about Morne Steyn. It is not going to work. He is not playing for the team that I am supporting and the only reason I have been on your case about him was because of all the lies that you have been spreading. It is all about the lies, you see.
I have already addressed the so-called off-loading issue but as normal you disappeared off that thread and I am not interested in repeating myself. Go find the thread and read what I have said. In the meantime, try and get the names of the clubs right, poepol.

Pastor Meyer shouted at Morne, telling him he is no longer welcome at the Sunday School. Morne used to be the lead, most loved choir boy, but has fallen out of favor now that a new true blue disciple has emerged.
He and Derick should join hands, and remember the times when they were serenaded by thousands of men coming to terms with their true selves.
Farewell Morne 'Simply the Best' Steyn. You are simply not the best any more.

Problem was Morne never was the best in anything but kicking at goal. He definitely was a dead loss inofar as backline play is concerned and I think Meyer finally realized that the kick-and-chase game has limited potential to succeed in the longer run.

clevermike - Being completely honest, I think Morne had his ups and downs. At times he showed glimpses of being able to play more of an attacking game but you are right he was a better player when he played deep, far away from the heavy tackles.
One cant really blame him for that though - he was re-shaped and formed to conform to the 10 man game when he arrived in Pretoria.
'Simply the best' and 'Liefling'.....what will Pollard's song be ? 'Waterblommetjie' ? or if he is very gassy, perhaps 'Ruiter van die windtjie' or 'Kinders van die wind' ?

Not so sure about "Waterblommetjies" - it will remind them too much of Pollard's Western Cape origin and "Kinders van die Wind" is more a tragic/sentimental type of song. I would say - bearing in mind the environment he plays in - the Bulls are really in the darkest of nights insofar as modern rugby is concerned - it could be "Ruiter in die Nag". However, a new addition of Liefling may find its way to the top of the Loftus Versveld hit song list.
Despite what you wrote elsewhere - Naas Botha was the one player who instilled the kick-and-chase game for the Bulls - not necessarily in the case of the Springboks, but definitely in the case of the Bulls. Since then the Bulls always played the kick-and-chase game, with the only real function of the flyhalf to donkey-kick the ball and the no 12 center to crashball. Pollard is likely to start a minor change in that approach, but - like Morne - their coaching staff may yet beat any other tendency out of him. Le ts hope they are not successful.
