There are various members who change their minds on players virtually from game to game - some of the changes has been quite drastic - others very short term and very superficially.
Mozart - change his tune in respect of Coetzee and Etzebeth - after initially saying they were no good. Then after a few tests he changed to the extend that Etzebeth and Coetzee did well. Then again back to saying that Coetzee's defended very well in the Aussie test - and now back to his original position - namely that they are not good enough.
The Cat was psychophantic in his admiration of Morne Steyn and Kirchner - in his latest posting on backline selection he left both of them out. Difficult to get anything intgelligent from this guy - but what is going on here?
Saffex wants to pick a whole new backline from youngsters - but for Hougaard, and Francois Steyn and JP Pieetrsen. Has a point though urgent replacement of some players is necessary. Previously he mentioned Greyling as a potential prop - but has now changed his mind on that one. Poor play by some playes he suppor counts for nothing/
Beeno changes his tune considerably and publish amny newspaper reports. Change his mind consistently on issues - dependin on what is in the opinion pieces quotedd by him. However - he is quite loyal to Meyer as coach - and also on his ynvavering support of nything coming from the Stormers or WP - the real provincialist on this Board.
However there is wide differences on particular certain player selections/ About 95% of the members wants Morne and Kirchner out. Th lone and virtull own supporter of the two on the Board is the Cat. The board is split down the middle on Hougaard as a scrummie.
It is a demcoratic environment - and there is no problem in people changing their mind.
