Cheaters will run everything. I picked the Sharks on Superbru, but this should probably be the closest contest this round.

Shaun Venter has a good pass like FdP, but the Cheaters running everything sells out the backline.

Rugby being ruined by these new tackling rules....much more aggressive tackling in grid iron. High/low now virtually impossible.

Rhule totally gasses Esterhozen for a try. These slow centres, Esterhozen, Venter Stepfontein will always be found out. Cute little inside steps never negates pace.

Reinach kicks directly into touch. Then comes back with a wonderful tackle on the slow Venter. Not a scrumhalf but could have been a wing.

What an idiot - but what else can one expect from a rugby ignoramus whose prejudice takes over and destroys even the dim idea of rugby he already has.

The idiot attacks Venter - but elsewhere try to get a really crap performance of Pollard justified,  Talking of Pace - what about Pollard and your other favourites the Steyns?

The law's intent may have been good, however the interpretation and over-reaction by referees and TMOs is making the game a farce.  I can well understand the Bothma and Cooper incidents but poor Coenie was simply dumb and there was really no malice or intent.  Pypers is an @ss at the best of times.
Full-on RED card for Frik..

Very, very slow defensive line from the Sharks...Cheetahs pick up 15 metres before contact.

Are you talking about yourself again?   Don't be too hard on yourself - we all know by now you know bugger-all about rugby,
We also know by now that your vision of rugby comprise only two elements - defense and kicking balls away (irrespective how aimless and poor the kicks are).   Scoring of tries is a deadly rugby sin according to you,  That is likely the reason why you think the game is sub-standard.

Charl Marais kills Coenie. For all his play in the loose this is why Coenie is a myth.

Penchant for attack leads Blommetjies to flirt with his touchline leading directly to a Sharks try. This crazy stuff inside the 22 has a very low success rate.

Sharks scrum much better after Adriianse replaces Coenie. Thomas du Toit also making a big difference. Is he finally fulfilling his huge physical promise?

Rhule totally befuddles Dave's man Am in no space and then runs a brilliant cut for a try. This was a frenetic but very poor match. Sharks made it somewhat better for the Cheetahs by falling asleep at the end. . Sharks forwards crush Cheetahs 'beautiful game'. It was ever thus.

After watching all the SA sides today it is quite evident that on current form there is little hope of any of them ending the season as winners of SR.  I wonder if we have a team that can win any of the Kiwi sides - based on current performance.
Young Bosh is doing better in the step-up from junior level than Pollard by the looks of it.

I am lucky - I can see games and be critical as well, but I make objective assessments and am thankful that I do not depend on you for rugby evaluations.

Mach, the Landers didn't look that great, neither the Blues. Blues were good, but not great. None of the SA sides looked even good. IMO, only the Jags MIGHT  challenge the NZ top 3 this year. Saders shouldn't be that good, yet theyre winning matches that should have been lost. One of the SA sides might win a lucky match against them, but I don't see the Canes or the Chiefs going down to any other teams....but it's early days still.

I do not think the Highlanders are all that good and neither are the Crusaders.   The Canes looks worse than the were last year and the Chiefs better,  All the NZ teams had good games and some very average ones as well.
To assess teams this early in the series is just not on.

NZ killed  the competition. The formula had to be changed either year in, year out, it would have been a NZ final or even NZ semi finals.

SA rugby dropped behind a long time ago, and the current government can do nothing about it. The resources are gone.
