Yip strong and skillfull ....so much talent in SA.

Ja, I saw a few of his clips, really strong, big thighs, but then if you look at the school boys he is playing against, there is a huge physical gap. The same was said about Tim Swiel who was by far the best player of his age at school, but he soon got stuck when turning professional. 

So it is hard for me to rave about a school boy when there are not any other similar  players with the same physique, but that said, for his size he has a lot of speed and strength. 

Could be the next Luamape from NZ. Hope he gets the right path to professional rugby.

P.S. Don't forget JP Du Plessis that got a contract out of school to play rugby League in Australia as a 17 year old. Didn't last and never really found his way back into union

Hopefully WP rugby will pull Julius in when the time is right.

Well, Lomu was dominant in amateur era, but then players started to become professional and bulked up which made him less effective. I never forgot how Sterling Mortlock put Lomu on his ass with a chest high tackle. That swung the game and the wobblies  won that match. 

I hope this kid succeeds, he seems to have great pace.  

Also, Augustus Groot was IRB Junior Player but now seem to struggle in the professional game. He is doing well for Northampton but not really set the world alight even though many people raved about him and some journalist wanting him to go straight to the boks. 

There is that 13 of the Lions, brilliant player, bit on the smaller side but he can't crack the first team. 

Will Carling had 24.5 inch thighs !! Hardly average, Saffex
