The following from Die Volksblad:-
"Much-vaunted flanker Heinrich Brüssow is set to return to the Cheetahs starting lineup to face the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.
The Springbok had been out of action for some three months after sustaining a toe injury for his Japanese club, the Docomo Red Hurricanes, but turned out for Free State against Western Province in last weekend's Vodacom Cup.
The Volksblad website reports that, with Lappies Labuschagné ruled out of the Durban derby with a groin problem, the diminutive flanker will start in the back-row.
Brüssow's phenomenal breakdown work and scavenging on the ground has been sorely missing from a Cheetahs outfit that shipped several tries from turnovers during Saturday's thumping 52-31 defeat to the Crusaders in Bloemfontein; they were turned over ten times in total versus the visitors' two.
Though the flanker's return is good news for South African rugby, Boks colleague Coenie Oosthuizen remains out of action with a neck injury, while fly-half Johan Goosen looks set to miss out thanks to a concussion sustained in the Crusaders defeat. Elgar Watts should replace him in the starting lineup, with Riaan Smit among the substitutes."
Mozart (aka Bulshitting Bertie) would be delighted about this news. Goosen - having concussion was mannah from heaven for him. This happens often enough in rugby - but in the case of Goosen it was according to him front page news. Just think - the poor guy is injury prone because of the concussion problem. And Labuschagne is I presume according to him now also injury prone.
Bad news for him is that White is apparently thinking of a fourth flyhalf for the Sharks. Flyhalf no 1 is Lambie. no 2 is Steyn, no 3 is Zeilinga and no 4 is Swiel. Just think - with slow-motion Steyn not being picked will give Bullshitting Bertie a seizure.
Not having players like Goosen and Labuschagne available will weaken the Cheetahs considerably and should give the Sharks the upper hand - but it will be nonetheless an interesting match.
