No doubts any minute now we will be hearing howls of indignation fron resident whiner Deadhead Redsman about how the poor Aussies were robbed by Joubert and how he 'll no longer be on his christmas card list.

The TMO Shaun Veldsman will also be in the line of fire i'm sure after denying the Reds four tries.

Sometimes you just get the rub of the green and it's nothing to do with the resident SA officials being biased towards the home team.

I'm sure Bweeno will agree with me on this one..

stain larger the facts are plain for everyone willing to see them. Give us impartial refs and we win quite comfortably.

Our Saffa refs understand when a pass is foward something down under refs do not. Both the Highlanders and Reds were caught out badly. They thought as usual they could get away with murder but to their horror found out they could not.

Given decent refs both the Stormers and Sharks would be riding high and that despite bad injury runs.

So congrats to both the bulle and Cheetahs for highlighting this by comfortable wins.

Stenlager

I watched the replays over and over insofar as the disallowed "tries"  are concerned.  All deal wth all for incidents separately:-

Davis - there ws no way that there was any dowbwards pressure on the ball and that he had the ball uder control.  I could not male out whether he in fact even touched the ball and I was of the opinion that the vedict was wrong and that it shoud have been a 33 meter ddrop out and not a scrum.  What was cklear from the cideo recoring was that it definitely was nt a try.

Genia - there was no evidence that the ball touched the ground and as a matter of fact I think that Labuschagne had his hand under the ball abd strong bugger that he is - when the players gotup from the maul he had the ball in hand.   The  best  decision was the one ultimately taken.

The Cooper pass -  from all angles it seems that with his hands in the position was it was - only a forward pass was possible.

The one incident where I was a it dountful was with the second "try".   There definitely was inteference - but I m doutful whether the forwards who was interfered with woud have been able to stop that try from being scored.  If I was the TV ref - I may have looked at the players involved as well - but I suppose the decision ,must be taken that there was interference so the rulebook shall apply.

I think the Reds lost the game more on the amount of turnovers in the game, than the missed tries.

Probably the most turnovers I have seen in one match this year.

The Cheetas lost turnovers but did seem to get the 50/50 calls.

VanDerWalt and Brussouw in tandem are awesome at the breakdown.

VanDerWalt is a blind side flank but I think he may be more suited as an opensider.

The Reds were clearly not happy with many of the decisions and looking aggreaved

Well steinlager (crap tasting beer - what do you expect from kwiws though..?)

Ithought all was fairly reffed in that game and not concerned. Reds had the oppotunities to win and couldnt close - credit to cheetahs defense and clearly shows that broussow and a number of otehrs in that team are world class players. Its strange that the saffas dont recongnise that this is actually their best team in the comp this year.... too busy focussed on the losing stromers and sharks i guess...

The one try which was surpsingly disallowed was the cooper pass from all angles EXCEPT the last one looked fine... but I will concede hands were clearly going forward.

The reality was that genias pass was to blame and frnakly he had a shocker... lacked composure and worst Id seen him play in ages - could be something to do with QCs omission from wallabies... anyway well done cheetahs - joubert (unlike every single cheating kiwi ref was actually fairly impartial and easily best ref in Tri-nation countries.)

If you look at my tips from last friday or thurs I actually tipped reds to lose... so your point steincrapbeerlager is a little more than a feeble display of how unintelliglble you are.

i must've accidently pushed the Red button again - my bad.

Deadhead Red can't help it if his taste buds are up his arse but what do you expect from someone that spells beer XXXX.

For your information though Red you dumbarse yarpy that altready thinks he owns Australia -

Steinlager started by taking on the best beers in the world in 1977 when Steinlager won the Les Amis du Vin Award, the most prestigious beer award in the world.

Steinlager followed it up by winning again in 1978 and to really prove it wasn’t a fluke, again in 1979 and 1980.

The establishment didn’t like the fact that this upstart from the bottom of the world had taken out a mortgage on its cup and promptly sent a letter asking that Steinlager not enter again.

By then Steinlager Classic had won the title of ‘The best beer in the world’ – so the point was made. Steinlager Classic stands alone as New Zealand’s most internationally acclaimed premium beer.

So much like the ABs Red, Steinlager is a winner to bring it back to rugby. Deans is also the best Australia has got and maybe if QC shut his big mouth and learned how to tackle he'll get selected next time..
