Cheetahs up against it playing on Friday and Saturday this week

...I see the Cheetahs are topping the table in the Currie Cup but now have to split their squad into an A and B team...how will that affect their abilty to compete with their Pro14 debut against Ulster in Belfast on Friday and a table top clash with the Sharks on Saturday in Durban....something has to give...
I take it it will be an easy game for the Sharks given they'll be facing the Cheetahs B team this weekend ?

How is the tournament travel schedule working? Do teams also play in South Africa?
