The site is acting a little weird.
Conditions in this game (stormy - pun intended) are impacting the game for sure.

Most of the Cheetas backline did. They were playing behind a losing pack, but that was surely their worst display of passing.
Nizaam Carr is looking promising. Good offloads in the tackle.
And Delande looks like the best centre at offloading in the tackle in South Africa.

Beale and De Allende are by some distance the best no 12 centers in Super 15. Since he can also play very well on the wing and is speedy enough - he should be selected at 13 for the Springbok team. De Villiers would probably prefer to play outside of him.
The latter seems to be injured very often - and his selection may as a result be problematic. if it is, I think our center combination should be Serfontein and De Allende.

De Allende was superb and is a Bok must. Our two best centres are him and Jean who is getting a very nice break. jan coming along well. JJ to wing.Coenie simply is no good at tighthead - very poor scrummager. Otherwise his game is good.Goosen is to inexperienced and did not shape in these conditions. Not ready for NH?
Lets hope Schalk is okay.Great win by Stormers. Cheethas though were off their game

highlanders vs crusaders - breath taking excitement
hurricanes vs chiefs -a fistful of action
stormers vs cheetahs - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
there can be no argument on the matter, SA rugby fans are more passionate about rugby then NZ rugby fans.
if our local teams produced games like that of the cheetahs and stormers, rugby would have plummeted in popularity a long long time ago.
or do SA rugby fans just have a higher tolerance for the mundane and mediocre???
hmmmmm, all i know is i need a good nights sleep, so im going to watch the cheetahs and stormers game,,,

Sasue
Be fair - the Newlands game was played in atrocious weather conditions and was surprisingly better than expected.
I found the Hurricanes - Chiefs game less exciting - it was too one-sided with horribly poor defense on the past of the Chiefs.
The Highlanders - Crusaders game was very breathtaking and I think the Highlanders was desperately unlucky to have the referee and TV monitor on the side o f the Crusaders.

@m ikey,
i agree it was better then expected, but thats not hard to do when years of saffa darbies have left expectations so low that it puts barry white to shame, LMAO,
and if weather was the cause for the lack of razamatazz, what about all the other saffa darbies??? compared to NZ and even OZ they are on the bottom of best entertaining games played, a view which many saffa here have said nearly every weekend this year alone.
saffa rugby culture IMO just dosent encourage the right type of rugby, 10man rugby is embedded in SA rugby DNA.
not too sure what u mean buy the ref and TMO was in the saders pocket, but u are a sharks fan and no sharks fan would be happy seeing the saders in the top 3, so fair enough.
but there was nothing wrong with that call in the end, i would have been happy if that decision went either way, but the TMO with all the evidence available got it spot IMO, ball touched the sideline and tryline at the same time, therefore it was out.

I had one Storemers player in my line up- namely De Allende - and he was bloody good. Even Sasue had him in his team. No other Cheetahs and I am limiting them in any event - since players like Labuschagne, Van der Walt and De Jager are out with injuries.
I was also not really in love with Chiefs players and went for the Hurricanes players instead, Crusaders are not my favourites either. I had Nadolo when he played against the Sharks and was poor - so I ducked out - what a mistake.
I made a mess by having Hooper on the bench and playing Du Plessis at loosie 0 bit it is always easy to be wise after the fact.

SaSUE you know only too well the second string Stormers would have beaten the crusties apart from ref error.By the way watched highlights of Sharks /Blues game. What a shocker that Blues try was - the pass was meters forward!!!!
