It is reported that he has already submited his application for the Cheetas job, but perhaps that is a ruse to get the higher paid Kings Coach role. It seems the kings are going to have a bigger budget, as well as the player rejects of Toulon.

The guy is a joke a minute,   He broke his contract with the Brumbies because he did not get the Aussie coaching job and returned to SA for "family reasons".

He then did no stay with his family for a month and then went off to Durban for the Sharks job.   The story then is told how he saved the Sharks from a fate worse than death - but is forced to resign  at the Sharks or a variety of reasons.

He then became an advisor to Tonga Rugby and went off to Montpellier - where he signed a two year contract/   He loudly proclaimed his interest in the vacant England coaching role in the media - but despite that did not get the England job.      When the Montpellier contract was up for renewal   he was told by the Club it would not be renewed.    Went off to Japan to be near his family,

There was then a chance that the Aussie coach would be fired and then asked for an interview with them to push his case for appointment in a position that was not vacant at all.   That landed him again in the media.   So he remained in Japan - but he keeps thinking about a potential route to become a test level coach.

Now he knows that the Springbok coaching role will become vacant in November 2019 and that if he coaches the Cheetahs or even the Kings he may become a local  candidate for that position.  No way would  he be interested in dealing with those two franchises without ulterior motives.

Yes ... he is totally unreliable.

When will he learn that the world of rugby have no interest in him and his treacherous ways?

He divides as far as he goes. He hit the big time and soon after divorced his wife of 27 years. Now he's complaining about how lonely he is.

He has no interest in the Cheetahs ... they would be stupid to even consider his application.

Cheetahs no long have Franco Smith, good opportunity to get an experienced coach as a replacement. White can only improve the setup, they've got limited funds and a team with a few rough diamonds and his experience and knowledge may no longer be innovative but its tried and tested.
Echoes of Claudio Ranieri at Leicester?

An article has been released stating that White has no interest in the Cheetahs, he just called Franco Smith about something unrelated, nevermind.
