Don't worry man, they'll soon love him again when he gets more gametime and starts to win games for the cheetahs.
It's the first match of the season, the match where you're most likely to pick up an injury. I can admit he's injury prone, but so is Dan Carter and look what he's achieved. I saw him rubbing ice as well, atleast we know it's not anything to do with the bone. Most likely just pulled a muscle or something, nothing too worrisome as he would've had a lot more done done to his forearm etc.
I have seen nothing said about his injury on twitter and he did post today but nothing said so he is either waiting for the results of a scan or it's not that bad, Naka will update everyone on Wednesday when he announces the team.
I haven't seen anyone down right wish Goosen to get injured, but I've seen a lot of expectancy

From what I remember the commentators thought he had an elbow injury. Before that though when he went down with a leg injury & his knee was taped up & my thought was the poor bastard was injured again. I only wish him the all the best so no ill intent on my side but that was my thought.
My point is that he now has a reputation as a player of very high potential but also there is concern about injury. I doubt many poster wished him ill, rather it is a case of cringing when he goes down.
Even if he is not injured & can play next week the coaches have to think about how to get him game time, build his body & tackle technique so he less susceptible to injury. Not easy but he is worth the effort!

no one was wishing goosen to be injured, as retarded as some people are (yes u know who im talking about) and different an opinion we might share, i havent seen one person who would generally wish an injury onto another player.
but folks have a right to groan and say OMG there he goes again when goosen gets wrapped up with more bandages and goes of injured when the match was hanging in the balance.
goosens history with injury sis why most folks behave that way.
its not unreasonable to say that this level just might be a bit too much for goose man on a physical level.
luckily the Boks dont need him as long as bambie is all good, as bambie has proven hes not as fragile when playing at spXv level or higher.

oh did dan carter also spend half of his first three seasons of superurgby and international level out with injury too??? thats the first ive heard.
u do know that carter is 31 years old and on the verge of retirement???
injuries tend to become a major issued with players the older they get, some more so then others.
point is, caters injury issues have only become a problem the last few years and even then, its nothing like what goosen has gone through.
