Sonny can't tackle, he can't pass, cannot impose himself on the gainline in any meaningful way. What is there to be afraid of? That little flick backwards? Wrap him up and he fades away. He was exposed as early as 2010 EOYT. This guy is at best a gimmick and in reality a deeply flawed player. He should return to League if I'm being quite honest. A game that does not require a more dynamic player.
I had the pleasure of watching SBW play league for the Canterbury Bulldogs, a Sydney club. He was sensational, the next best thing, his performances were way above any of his team mates and up there with the best in the League. In Union he's had the privilege of playing next to gun players at both the Crusaders and the AB's. He most defnitely not standing head and shoulders above any of the players he played alongside, as a matter of fact I've yet to see him impose himself like he's done in League, neither is he indispensable as Henry showed when he left him on the reserves bench in the WC final.
Quite frankly, the guy is no threat, no Lomu....in Union he's just another player. No big deal like he was in League.

SBW will have a couple of seasons under his belt now so coming into his prime and has made all his detractors look foolish so far. Regardless of SBW the Chiefs backline is dotted with ABs
