nice work chiefs, clean saffa sweep. now come home and get beaten by the hurricane,,,,,,nek minit, :)

humid conditions affected both teams as handling errors was the flavour of the game, in particular SBWs who hasnt played in those conditions, prob played his worst sp rugby game ever, but IMO thats a good thing, cos he will learn from it and like a sayian, will come back stronger and smarter for it.

commentators were saying that masaga should have been penalised for his KAPOW with movovo, but my from what i saw, masaga was in the act of tackeling him, as his arms were about to wrap around him, but his head clash hit first, KOing straight away, so the ref made the right call? at least thats how i saw it.

i reckon kerr barlow has got some serious skills, but for a halfback, he really dosent like passing the ball, which should be 2nd nature to him. i think i would prefer to see pulu start over him, he can do what barlow does without the greed. im not raving about pulu cos of his last minute try either (which was awesome) cos i was talking him up last week too, but now im convinced.
its a pity we dont see the chiefs play against the storm, unless the finals let it fall into place, yet another reason why this format is so BS, anyways nice work chiefs, ur clash against the crusaders in rnd 17 is going to be one to watch, especially if u both continue on ur winning ways.

Head clashes are usually avoided by the tackler. One doesn't expect the tackled player to have to avoid a flying head butt. I'm no Mvovo fan , but the kid was poleaxed.  When he watches the tape he will get some satisfaction watching Masaga, flat on his back, twitching like a dope addict.

head clashes are usually avoided by everyone. masaga was trying to put a good hit on movovo and it went wrong, replay clearly showed that his arms were going around for a tackle, untill the accidental head collision. do u really think anyone with masagas speed intentionally wanted that to happen??? what was he supposed to do, run up to movovo and kindly ask him to give him the ball??? i hope movovo has a bit more class than ur comment and takes no satisfaction from what IMO was an accident.

...."that his arms were going around for a tackle"....

Eaxactly the point, in rugby the rule is to lead with the hands and arms.

@denny,

watch the incident again and READ my posts carefully, masaga was trying to tackle movovo, meaning he was in the act of tackling, but it wasnt completed cos he got KOd from the head clash. i also take it u have never played a game of rugby if u think every tackle starts with the lead of hands and arms.

 I thought the ref should have stopped the game and attended to the 2 immediately - someone should have rolled both Mvovo and Masaga onto their sides and removed their mouth guards to ensure they were breathing freely and not aspirating or choking on their mouth guard /tongue or saliva - that was really painful to watch! That's what captains are for!
