Hurricanes the top attacking side versus Chiefs fourth best attack. Sudden death for the Canes or top six placing at the expense of the Sharks or Reds ?

Expecting fireworks and a real ding dong battle between these two top sides and wouldn't be surprised or feel aggrieved if the Canes made the playoffs at the expense of the Sharks. Now Steyns back they look like the top SA side at this point. Correct me if i'm wrong Bean Brain.

Will be difficult for the Almighty Chiefs to lose two in a row after last weekends shocker they couldn't play much worse but the Canes at home in Wellington will be a formidable force to be reckoned with....

Could easily go either way.

Two showboat sides about to do their flash stuff brycy. A game of consequence only in as far as it affects the Sharks and of course the Mighty Stormers (There is only one Almighty brycy!)

Hurricanes win we have chance to top the log.  So Hurricanes its time to down the non warrior tribe the Chiefies!

well its a test for the stormers this weekend...can they score with there "i will bore you to death defence only game plan" or can they score 4 tries against the limp penile defence of the rebels. which i think has one of the worse defence records in the comp this season. i do stand corrected of course.

Go Canes. Stormers, well they'll beat the Rebels, but a bonus point aint gonna happen.

Time to confound the sceptics Stormers so lets bag five. Jean I am relying on you to confound ou carpet muncher and bluebok.

I can't call upon Alisatair and Fleckie as they have no clue. Jean you will have to figure out how to do this.  I have confidence that you can. Dont listen to those coaches of yours anymore - you know they are a brainless lot! You are the Bok captain now with plenty og gravitas so what you say goes with the guys!  You can spend the weeks thereafter trying to explain your strategies to Alistair and fleckie but go very slowly!

Hahahahahahahaha poor Jean he has a load to bear.

I'm sorry but what?

Honestly Chiefs vs Crusaders was the game of the season for me.

The game between the Chiefs and Crusaders was a very attractive one - but unfortunately marred by numerous silly mistakes on both sides.    I would not say it really is the game of the Suoer 15 this year.   I think the games between the Chiefs and Hurricans would portray running rugby - hopelly they can eliminate the numerous silly mistakes evident in the Crusader-Chiefs game.   Then it could be a showpiece.

I think if the Chiefs loses this one - they would be in trouble later in the tournament.   It is very much a must-win game for the Chiefs if they wish to remain on top of the combined log.

Realistically the last couple of weeks kiwi derby(s) have been among the best rugby this season. Canes v Crusaders was insane rugby as was crusaders last week v chiefs.

Gotta give credit to those kiwis they know how to score tries and keep the ball alive. I think Aust rugby could learn lots from this - SA you just keep sticking to your boring northern hem penalty shoot outs...

Remember SBW has now ditched NZRU & Chiefs for return to NRL - so will be interesting to see impact this has on game. Could work either way - also Cheifs are already top of nz conference so dont have as much to play for.

I wouldnt bet against the canes taking this game out - and will be close to game of the round unless reds can score multiple points v tahs.......

i agree redsman. the saders chiefs game had a amazing tempo and skills levels and was a great advert for the new ELV's. comparing that level with the limp stormers or bulls could leave one sitting scratching you head for hours on end.

ball retention and possesion is name of the game. as i said it will be a good game but i feel the best is yet to come. canes has the guns to outgun the chiefs but even if they are just a few % off there game they will pay for it
