It is a tough choice for him to make - when he is in competition with so many other loosies in SA - when all fit. He could end up playing for Ireland as a loosie - that could be his aim if he thinks that he would not get opportunities in SA. On the other hand - if he performs for Munster - it would not disqualify him for future selection for the Springboks.
Adopt the NZ policy of not selecting overseas based players ......... that will reward the ones that stay at home & deter anyone ( who might have serious Bok aspirations ) from leaving .
