With Connie hurt is their a better bench prop?. Powerful running and a few huge scrums. The hammies are questionable, but off the bench he could be dynamic and combatative.

CJ is a player who never had the career his talents suggested he would. He was big 125 kgs or so and surprisingly fast. He was played out of position as a tighthead, managed this but was a far better loosehead.

Moz the problem is how would he go if required to come off the bench and play 70 minutes due to an injury. He is an option for a shorter period But who knows how long he might be needed.

I noticed Meyer mentioning Steenkamp being unavailable due to injury. When you sum up all the retired or injured players not available this year is is huge.

Steenkmamp, Coenie, Bissie, Bakkies (I will not mention victor) Danie Rossouw, Burger, Vermuelen, Spies, Brussouw, Kan Kan, Fourie Du Preez, Jaque Fourie, JP, Taute. There have been inuries to players that others have touted  Kolisi, Elstadt (just coming back) Koster , Juan smith (Pesonally I think he wil not come back now) Mostert

How much has al this meant to our match 22. We used to have a number of leaders in the team. John, Schalk Fourie Dup and jean as well.
