I keep seing you harp on about Morne and you probably never read my post to one of your threads but I want to know exactly what your beef with Morne is? its bordering on obsession but i dont really see precise details and cerydine has kind of debunk some stuff. So why do you say he is one dimensional? and what exactly - in your mind - does he need to be doing and how is that going to affect the team (particularly backline)?

Mike will not be available for a while. He is busy writing a thesis on how Heyneke Meyer has tried to shaft Jake White back in 2007 and how Jake is still pissed off about it, despite having said the opposite in his book.

Ihi Did I not explain what Morne Steyn does and does not do when playing at flyhalf? He constantly de the same things - never attacks the gain line himself and defenders need noth bother about hi and go straight for possible other players who may receive the ball from him, standing too deep in the pocket, passing the ball to a recipient that has the defenders in his ace by the time he receives the ball, kick aimlessly and hand over possession to the opposition. There is never any variation in his play and defenders has an easy day at work. if he passes the balls way behind the gain line deep in the pocket the defenders - both loosies and the opposing center is onto the recipient immediately and often enough tackle the recipient way behind the gain line. By the time he gets the ball the wings have fallen back to cover his so-called strategic kicks. There is never any variation in his play. Morne's only real asset is his kicking at goal. In key games like the Super 15 this year and at Eden Park, Morne's game deteriorates completely and his kicking game becomes even worse than normal. . Watch him carefully in games he plays and all the above will become clear to you.

Jy droom van fokke paaseiers wat pik man. I can fork out many examples on YouTube of Morne Steyn starts passing the ball and running from his own goal line, but you will still come up and insinuate that I am talking crap and that I am lying. In fact that very same videoclip that you still haven't commented on again, shows him running the ball from his own goal line. I challenge you, once again, to go back to that thread where your bias was shown up.

"Blah blah blah . . . and you probably never read my post to one of your threads but . . . blah blah blah . . ."

That's actually quite funny! The guy who reckons "homosexual = paedophile" grumbling because people aren't reading his drivel!

Comedy gold!

Mate MOrne has been playing quite flat at times for the Bulls and id say he is the most balance in terms of runniing and kicking. he isnt a silky running larkham but you are really harsh. something to consider here is the one-off runners you guys use alot which dont really pose an offloading threat, thats allows defences to swarm in numbers and slow your ball down. that was the big problem last year but meyer has developed that a fair bit. if your players pass down the line then the slide defence can easily just skip one down and cut off your attack or at least push it into the touchline (think sharks here failing to get mvovo away!). thats what i commented on last time, you guys dont try to manipulate the defence enough from general play. what kind f moves can you use against the slide? quick inside balls, good steppers (but they become predictable if thats your only hope), but it basically comes down to 2 man and 3 man plays. what your basically saying is that the defence are not being asked enough questions, but its not mornes fault. where are the other guys in these 2/3 men plays? like i said the best coaches know that you need to arm all 15 players with these 3 man plays so that you can make a breaching hit on the defence at any point. its the essence of attacking rugby ball in hand and it was found straight from league (England even know this shit). what more variation can morne possibly have? he can vary his depth and width, pass or kick, or run and of these options statistically he strikes a very neat balance. i cant see what more he can realistically do on his own? i have watched damn clear and i just dont see any of this stuff. i have seen him even make breaks against the wallabies in at least three tests! idont get why people trash talk him, you guys love cooper cso much, you can fucking take him right now! wed trade in a heartbeat.

@Rooinek, I suspect that your laughter is about my remark about Mike not responding to a specifc thread. If so, then it is obvioulsy not because of the fact that he has not responded. He pulled exactly the same thing on that thread as what he did here. He told me that I was bullshittting and I gave him the proof and still maintained that I was bullshitting despite having everything right there in front of him.

Beradyne I did respond to every thread - but refuse to respond to jerks like you when they keep on distorting things.

What have I distorted? That is all that I have been asking on a number of occasions. You are the one distorting the facts. You have just done it right here on this very forum. You have said that Heyneke Meyer tried to get White out and get his job, and that was not what happened. A perfect example of distorting things. In fact, to me it looks more like a downright lie. Nee man. Kom by.

Sies man. Dis lelik om so te lieg.

One thing about Morne Steyn, whether you like him or not...his name will never be forgotten on this forum but I guess so will Alberts, Matfield and Fransie...they certainly have done on this forum to be remembered for decades to come which is really more they have done on the field or should I say not done...they might have taken years off Ol' Maaik's longevity...
