Correction: Steve Walsh had an excellent game, near perfect, he's never been one of my favourites,I daresay never a SAFFA favourite in general and for all the knocking we do of referrees, I say hats off to him. The man has defnitely upped his form.
totally agree with you Denny - hats off to him - and to think that only a year or two ago his life was a shambles with alcohol and attitude problems - since the NZRU sacked him and him moving over across the ditch and getting his life in order and the ARU employing him, he is one of the refs I admire - strict but fair!
in games he refs, you almost feel like thanking him or buying him a drink for every penalty he gives against you LOL (that maybe exaggerating abit)
