Cobus Reinach

Actually Jerome, look at the run again. He comes round on the blindside and there is nothing but air in front of him. What we saw in that run was his pace, which nobody ever doubted. We saw nothing in that brief appearance of scrum half play. If he couldn't do it in the semi and QF of the S15, why would we start him against the ABs. He should stay on the bench till the last 15 minutes.  

He is the fastest Springbok at the moment, faster than the wings. He may even do well as cover for wing on the bench

Stop your standard crap.  Reinach's passes were qquick and effective.  Look inparticular how he held up the pass  to Lambie and time it 1900% so as  to pt Lambie into that very s,mall space he was in to get through to score his try.   Not any of Pienaar, Hougaard or even Fourie du Preez would have made the pass.   All of them would have passed to forwards - not to Lambie puting him in space.
Reinach played for five minutes and showed what a good scrummie should be able to do.

 Hougaard had a good game far better than the crap Pienaar dished out. The correct two 9s are now on board 

 Hougaard played a more physical game which suited him. He made one poor pass, but recovered by making the key tackle. He looked better, but still lacks fluidity and instinct. Reinach proved he is very fast...no more.

 Mozart manufactured a history of lies and deception about Reinach - he wrote about the semi-final of Super 15 and made some really wild claims about Reinach.   When challenged to indicate what exactly happened to justify his claims -he ducked out.
He has been onto Reoinach for half the Super 15 season and has constantly come up with useles  and unproven statements.    When he does not like players - or they pose a threat to his favourites in the Springbok team - he denigrates them endlessly.   Whatever they produce in matches is constantly explained away as being not worth looking at.
Because of pre judice and his dislike of some players his opinions on player performances is basically worthless.   By the way Mozart's dislike of Reinach is so overwhelming that he even finds positives in respect of Hougaard - a player he normally cannot stand either.      

 Lots of egg for the Reinach  doubters of course.
However Hougie should not be dropped now. Let him start and give Reinach 20 minutes to rip the abs to shreds!
Our main problem now is our tight five is under performing. We have been able to rely on a very powerful loose trio to cover that up.
If Louw and Vermuelen are out Meyer had better understand all this. No place for wee matfiled for one. 

 Hougie had a decent game, not MOTM but still a good game. 
Sniped well around the rucks and tackled fantastically, still needs to realise when to kick but he did well in deciding when to pass and run. 

Cobus looked promising, would've loved to have seen De Klerk fit and in the squad but Cobus is very able too.
