The poor bastard cant scrum. He was originally fine as at loosehead, but then after a serious neck injury was advised to move to tighthead. 


Bottom line is he is not a tighthead, and nowdays he is not even a loose head.

He needs to move to Hooker. He just needs to learn to do throw ins- which he probably can given his ball skills. 


I dont think this guy is a prop anymore. However he could be a good hooker. He is stong and he is mobile

I think that Coenie cannot play on international level anymore as a result of the neck injury.  He just is not performing as a prop in scrumming and it became clear as daylight yesterday as well.    Sasd to say this - but I think the injury has a psychological  impact as well - he just d oes not go all out to scrum anymore.

 It's really hard to  blame him....how do you go all out with that vulnerability in the back of your mind. Lukas Von Biljon was great before his neck injury, never the same after.
