It certainly is not Mbonambi and Alberts coming off the bench or wasting Willie on the bench in the first place.
Coetzee's treatment of Willie sums him up, instead of showing faith as Eddie Jones did with an out of form Mike Brown, he discards Willie and brings him back when the wheels start coming off, but only as a bench option. Willie since his return has been our best back in the short periods he has been on the field.
Point is Willie should never have been dropped in the first place for the likes of Goosen and Lambie neither of whom are fullbacks, its utter madness.

The only selections this fool has got right are the locks......you cant really get it wrong with Etzebeth, PSDT and Lood. But what of being a little imaginative and having a look at Paul Willemse or RG Snyman to add depth

So Coetzee does not think the likes of Jacques du Plessis, the du Preez twins, Kirtsen, Coetzee or Elstadt would not add more value, what of Mostert at 7. Instead he sees old man Alberts as the alternative.
Whiteley is an impressive provincial 8 but tests are a step too far as a starter(physical issue), so in Coetzee's opinion the likes of Marcel Coetzee, Vermeulen, Notshe, Liebenberg, Mtembu or Arno Botha would not add value.
This clown thinks he has his selections right and that his way is going to see us challenge the likes of NZ and England......that the way forward is to play kicking 9's & 10's with a view to winning the territorial battle via the aerial route.....that games are won playing conservatively where you rely on goal kicking.
Funny thing is, to sum up how stupid he is......he picks Paige and Morne as his halfbacks with a view to executing his preferred plan only to select a small 12 in de Jongh who is unable to set up phases and he also selects a lightweight 7 & 8 thereby negating the chance of winning the forward battle.
