Coetzee and his pathetic coaching staff have been exposed.
It is now clear to all that any success by the Stormers was due to Rassie Erasmus. and Jaques Nienaber. (both now lost to Ireland- due to quota transformation).
Coetzee is a quota that has ridden on the coattails from day one.Yes, he has built up lots of experience and a good CV (on paper)- but he does not have the ability. 

He must be fired with immediate effect. At the very least the other quota appointments- or cheap appointments must be disposed of.
Stick can go back to coaching the Kings under 19 B team.

 He's dragged Bok rugby down to a level unseen before and should thus return all monies paid him as a salary to the coffers of SARU.
Incompetence should not be rewarded.
I also think a public flogging is in order followed by a lengthy term of hard labour.

It's not just that Coetzee has stuffed up, he's also wasted the best opportunity that any Springbok coach in living memory has had to change our national style of rugby.

I can't think of a single Bok coach who took over when there was such a golden opportunity to switch from a Stampkar/10-man/Jakeball style to a running game. The Lions may not have won the Super Rugby trophy but they at least got to the final and they did it playing the open running rugby that so many of us want to see the Springboks play. Coetzee had a great chance to cash in on the Lions success and build a new, young team that was prepared to attack with the backline . . . but he chickened out on both the "young" and "attacking" parts.

Yes, he picked Lions players but he didn't let them play their natural game. If he'd had the balls to pick the core of the Lions team and bring in someone like Johan Ackerman or Swys de Bruin into his coaching staff with a mandate to get them playing the Lions brand of running rugby then we might not be sitting here lamenting the fact that we're not only crap, we play the same dull, uninspiring and conservative game that we've played since 1999.

Yes, we may have taken a few early losses during the transition but I'd be a lot happier if we'd at least been able to match the All Blacks running game on Saturday and scored a few tries of our own . . . instead of relying on stupid drop kicks and kicking for poles when we should be kicking for the corners.

Allister Coetzee has a lot to answer for and the fact that he's now asking the other SA coaches what we should do next is further proof that he's a clown. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what the next step should be . . . or who should be taking that next step in charge!

 A team is a team.

NZ international team is the best club team NZ can offer. Calling a few players from different club here and there (supposedly) able to play a certain style of rugby is no guarantee  this kind of rugby being played successful.

Even if the hypothesis that SA has a few players able to sustain fluid, long sequence based rugby (SA has not) is accepted, surrounding them with players who are unfit to the style will no work.

AB players excell when they are in the AB team, this is when they are at their best (they might be so so in their club team)

This means that even if SA had 30 players able to play the game, once reunited in the international team, they will still be inferior to ABs.

Traditionalist, I don't know if you're just pretending to sound this stupid but I think the point I made about Coetzee picking Lions players and then not playing the game they are suited for addresses the point you're clumsily attempting to make in your 3rd paragraph.

Look, I know you're always trying very hard to sound all edgy and controversial but at least make some effort to understand what people are saying before you dive in and get all contrary and obnoxious.

Oh and please put that race card away now. It expired a long time ago. You're just becoming tedious and repetetive now.

 Coetze is not a miracle worker. The refoundation of SA rugby, a necessity since SA can no longer afford the priviledge of losing, is out of reach.

The entreprise would demand a lot of resources and this is mostly untimely at this point since, thanks to SA excellent men work, SA is heading toward depletion of resources.

The good old times when shipping gold to the IMF in exchange of loans to buy a standard of life are gone.

The refoundation cant be achieved,professional rugby, a luxury activity, is struggling for survival.
