This is my last post here. This website is refreshingly free of admin interference which is great, but unfortunately there is another problem. A much more serious one. Almost every single thread here is a childish bloody back and forth of petty insults between Clevermike and Mozart.

Maybe, but apart from the similarity of the logo, I find the style of English and dramatic self important... precious.... exits very similar.

When I initially saw the horns and writing style I thought they might be one and the same. However, I do now think they are different people.
BiltongBek was here to force his viewpoints and gameplan which often changed by the week, other than dumping all the established players.
BB got upset when people wanted to discuss these factual opinions (Although there were other reasons he left- if I recall). I don't think he could make so many posts without pronouncing his opinion as a the Sage in strategy and selection.
Over time, Give it horns seemed much more layed back and wanting to discuss things.

I'm not saying they're one and the same poster but Giveithorns did make mention that he'd been on several forums in the past, thing is, I don't recall a poster by that Nick....does anyone else? That post might still be on the board.

Why would a poster with 47 posts get so upset with activities on a new site. Forgive me, but it smacks of an agenda. Oddly enough I mentioned the departure of Biltongbek yesterday. One way or another I think this is probably a multi.

Biltong Bek exposed you on several occassions as an ignorant pompous ass and you felt threatened. That's why you went after him. The mere thought of his return has you in a flat spin.

"How dare he expose me like that" ... thing is though, it wasn't news to us ... you are indeed a pompous ass ... and the word ignorance is an understatement. You have always been your favourite subject of discussion ... your idiocy has been clear to us all for many years now.

The "egg laying counter ruck" lecture you so proudly gave us is a prime example of what we have had to endure over the years ... and what really makes me laugh is that while you were giving it you were patting yourself on the back ... thinking how clever you are.

Haaaaahahahahaaaa!!

Throw in your constant 180's on your favourite players and what we have is exactly what BB portrayed you as. A fool ... under the guise of an "expert".

Sadly he didn't have the balls to stay. I enjoyed his posts and found him rather refreshing in comparison to the garbage you dish up daily.

Personally I wish he'd mustered up some courage and signed up again. We can do with his input. Instead we're stuck with you and Tokkie going back and forth like 3 year olds.

That's what this site has come to.

He may even realise that you're a brainless old fart ... that there's nothing intimidating about you at all. You are a harmless old man who thinks the sun shines out his arse.

"I see biltong Beck on the roar a lot ,I doubt if they are the same person."

Wrong. The biltongbek who posted here is indeed the same person as the self-important coward who posts on the Roar.

He seemed like a decent enough person when he posted here and I actually defended him against Moffie's childish little attacks but later on when he'd left and I went to the Roar (before I realized it was a site where they edit your contributions and amputate whatever humour or wit you try to include) he told all the Roar posters that I was a troublemaker who was best ignored.

So much for me trying to stick up for him on this board.

I don't know if giveithorns is the same person but I certainly regard Biltongbek as a cowardly and opinionated little crybaby who is not missed here.

Oh well, like I said, turns out the Roar is a bit of a dud site. Imagine posting stuff on here but before it gets displayed it gets moderated and edited by a humourless and semi-literate dullard whose job is to try and make all content equally bland and formulaic. No thanks!

Moffie has this stupid and deceitful little theory that I was kicked off the Roar but it's a complete lie . . . as things so often are with Moffie. I left the Roar because it is so heavily moderated and because the people who do the moderation aren't qualified to mark a Grade 3 comprehension test let alone a sports article . . . no other reason.

Wehe, check out the foppish old mincer trying to pretend he's some kind of tough guy!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha!
Yeah right, Moffie, as if my taking a break had anything at all to do with a weak old loser like you!
Interesting though that you're claiming it was you who sent me packing when you said the following on this thread:
"The school master with a penchant for spelling, atheism, Board rules, and bullying has finally met his match. His own perceived dignity."
Sounds like it was my own "perceived dignity" back then but here you are puffing out your weedy little chest and trying to show off in front of your little Gimps, pretending that you're some kind of hard case who single-handedly drove off the dreaded Rooinek . . . and this from the same self-righteous hypocrite who claims he always tells the truth!
Yeah right!
Oh well, at least you were truthful about one thing, Moffie. Your comment above saying I finally met my match is actually an inadvertent yet rather telling admission that you've never been my match . . . which is the first bit of ho nesty and self-awareness I think I've ever seen from you.
LMAO!

Pfffft! Cloudy, there is some very good rugby on at the moment, unfortunately none of it is being played by my team. Bulls have a great squad, but a highly questionable coach. Also, the gap between NZ and the rest is making things a wee bit too predictable to be interesting. Still, I love rugby and although I biatch and moan plenty, I still watch  the games over the weekend. Apart from the Boks, but that is another discussion.

I think when you are a passionate rugby fan it doesn't matter who's playing, I still watch even though my Blues are crapola too. Lots of talent just not being consistent. Being in a different time zone I don't stay up to watch the SA games but when they travel I get to see your teams and you never know, the Boks just might pull a rabbit out of the hat this year. But we can talk about that later :)

With reference to the main thread -
To be honest, all this mudslinging is really not my cup of tea.  I am really to stupid at it and normally get pulled down to the level of the mudslinger and I am then beaten by experience on the mud-level.
But, RUGBY is my thing.  I do not really have a favourite team.  The union I played for is much too poor on money and talent to ever get anywhere.  I love the game, I watch the games and applaud good rugby.  I like to see the development of players and some I watch from junior level and follow their playing careers. There is a fundamental difference between the current NZ teams and the rest.  There is definitely something special being done at junior level and that core is built there and it is enhanced with every level the player progresses.  Although many of the kids in NZ inherited a special kind of athleticism and ball-sense, talent alone can only get you that far.  It seems as if the synergy between the school, club, junior and senior levels is well maintained.  The coaches seem to follow a specific strategic approach which flows from one level to the next.
Unfortunately the converse is true in South Africa.  Here, every coach is his own hero and his own law.  We have a clutter of lame ducks masquerading as a central body controlling rugby (SARU).  The unfortunate part is that, inline with national government, their first priority is in enriching themselves and protecting their "territory" in an effort to protect their lucrative financial rewards.
I have yet to see a concerted effort from the idiot who calls himself the sports minister to positively engage the junior schools and grow the sport. Every effort that is currently undertaken is done so without the government's help. Much is done by the Legends and other similar NPO's.  There are very few government schools that even have a rugby field, let alone a developed coach and other facilities.  SARU's failed CEO (Alexander has had quite a few business initiatives that ended in disaster) does not have an inkling of testicles to take on the government in this regard.  But, even then I really doubt if he has even the slightest knowledge of how to approach a decent development strategy.  His predecessors were equally lame and clueless!
South Africa has been in the hands of the current lot from 1994 (officially)!  If these silly sods were worth their jobs they would have started the development then.  Give them a generous 10 years to set it all up.  That would mean that SA could potentially have had two decent Springbok teams by 2014 - We could have had our own version of a "Maori" team consisting out of only ethnic blacks as well as a team consisting of the "rest".
However in reality-street every incumbent at SARU have only been interested in scraping off the cream and ensuring themselves a soft seat on the gravy train.  Then, they do the unthinkable crime called "transformation quotas".  This is probably the biggest of all cop-outs I have witnessed in all my years on planet earth.  These sill buggers abdicated their responsibilities for 20 years and then try and apply a quick-fix.  This stupid pollyfilla idea is not just detrimental to the game and players in SA, it is detrimental to the game world wide.  Their inability to do their jobs is the cause of the absolute atrocious state of rugby in South Africa.
