He has a chronic mania about older players and the weaker ones in the Springbok team. Our first success has been achoeved. He reluctantly admitted that Bakkies Botha, Gurthro Stenkamp and Morne Steyn are not up to standard anymore. He has reluctantly started to look at other players.
The next one is fr him to admit that JP Pietersen's pace has gone down so much that he is not really good enough to be a Springbok. He started a thread on that one and then discussed only Serfontein. I know he is slipping but that was bad. So lets see whether he would admit that.
The next wave is bount to be more difficult. We have todeal with his hugely admired- Willem Alberts and his National Treasure Jannie du Plessis. I am fearful that we will hae a massive struggle on our hands here - the two are getting worse and worse and "Der Alte Herr" cannot comprehend it.
Finally there is St Victor Matfield - being so prejudiced he flatly refuses to see anything negative in Victoria's performance and he gets dilly writing a stream of gibberish on this site to ty and turn away from the mind of sne members from the topic.
However, the minimal positive signs I mentioned - may just get to his addled brain - so lets prepare for a six month treatment season to get over his mental problms on the issue of player performances and especially those of the mentioned players.
