Congrats to Lloyd Harris

Harris beat Nadal in the third round  off the Washington Open  and became the first SA tennis player to beat Nadal.

However, it confirms another problem is that Nadal - after being out of the French Open announced he would not play in the Olympics and this series was supposed to be his comeback series.  he was just undercooked and nearly lost against a qualifier.   Then the Harris fiasco.   I am afraid based on performances this year that his playing career may be in jeopardy as a result of the age factor and he seems to be unsure of himself and his ability to perform.       

Poor old Pervert was  so excited that Nadal lost he posted this in the rugby section.

No there were comments under the rugby site as to the Olympics and many cases where sportsman in other codes of sport was promoted by you because of rare instance where they won something on an age basis.   

I was not excited - i was sorry to see it happening to that great tennis player Nadal.   Any athlete should retire whilst at their peak and not wait too long  because it  has a negative effe on their reputations.    

Federer and Nadal are unfortunately part of the latter group.
