Ancient I admit, but I had three three putts in my 76 today, so I wasn't hitting it badly. Now if I could have flipped the numbers I would have shot my age!
Thanks for the link Blob.

Congratulations - may you be blessed with many years of health and happiness.
Maybe I should add - may you also learn something about rugby performance evaluation.

Well done SA. Haven't seen the Final but it sounded like they thoroghly deserved the win.

From what I saw of earler games they definitely looked the team to beat.

Wonder why it happened - as gar as I can remember from December 2012 through to January 2014 the New Zelaand 7's never won a game against the SA 7's - I think in that period thy played 6 or 7 games against each other - mostly in semis or finals.
Seems like they do not like playing against SA in 7's.
Moola
South Africa and New Zealand had to play a total of 6 games to get through the final.   In those 6 games the SA 7's scored 192 points - with only 31 points scored against them .    They average 32 points for and 5,4 games against them in these matches - by far the largest average differences  of any team playing.  Based on that they certainly deserve their victory.

Whaaaat???

Your only 66 ... ???

Is that true?

How come you sound like a 90 year old?

You have a wife?

Oh ... I see ... he's also limp wristed??

Either way ... congrats man ... hope you'll try to stay focused ... and not wonder off to La La Land, as we all know you love to do ...

Wouldn't want you to return later and find yourself wondering around some place aimlessly ... lost ... and end missing the whole occasion.

Sincerely man ... congrats.

Moz, may the road rise to meet you and not the other way around you doddering old man and may your comments age like old wine, stinky and tough to swallow

76 is impressive - I've never cracked 80. I have a love/hate relationship with that sport !!

I thought it was pretty much obvious who my post was addressed to.

No?

Ok ... well then ... tell me ... Doos ... is it your birthday tomorrow? No!!!

Who's birthday is it tomorrow? Mozart perhaps??

Think carefully now. Did he mention turning 67 tomorrow per chance?

That means that 67 - 1 day to go = 66 today.

Get the picture?

Let me give you a clue ... he makes mention of his "wife" saying something stupid on occasion in the same post. You'll have to scroll up a tad to read what he actually wrote.

Feeling a little stupid right about now ... right?

Come to think of it ... why would I want to address anything to a cowardly wanker such as yourself ... one with multiple names ... who's only contribution is to surf the web to see whether Mike has his facts straight or not. ... huh?

No ... Doos ... I was definitely NOT speaking to you.

LMAO dr win,

happy birthday mozter, very good to be active at ur seasoned age, though golf is not my cup of tea, unless its accompanied by 24 cold ones, in which case its awesome,

conrgats to the blitzboks too, well deserved win by them who become the first team to stop the NZ 7s team from winning the gold medal.
i will be bale to do my trophy cabinet list in 2014 after all, i thought it was going to be liek other years where NZ clean sweep everything,

but i wouldnt congratulate south african fans though,,,,

- start of the world sevens series, there was healthy contributions from everyone regarding the sevens, SA saw most of their success at bthis time, and the saffa fans were exchan ging the banter left right and center with us kiwis.

- fast forward to the hong kong 7s, and all sevens related threads were contributed by kiwis only, with not a single saffa in sight despite the site called sarugby.com

the blitzboks at the hong kong 7s pretty much were left behind by the NZ 7s team who stormed to their 12th title in 15 years.

now that the blitzboiks have won gold. all these "fans" of the blitzboks are back once again to bask in their glory.
tsk tsk tsk, real fans support their team through the good times and the bad times, so no congratulations for the bandwagon jumping, ref blaming saffa fans, only contempt,

Thanks for sentiments ladies and gents. Just one clarification Cloudy....when my wife says " congratulations to me" ....she means to herself. And on the odd occasion she may actually say something nice to me. Comes with the territory when you marry an artist. But it's never boring

She was a Capab actress as a young woman and also a painter, which became her main focus. She does  figurative expressionism and has shown all over the world, Barcelona, Caracas, Shanghai, Miami. My daughter composes piano music, does recitals of her own music  and has produced 3 albums. It's hard to get a word in sideways.

Well, ou Clean Turd, you never make mention who you are actually talking to and since you posted right after my post and since you are always having a go at me as well, there was a bit of doubt already. I addition, I half expected you to miss the fact that Moz referred to his golf score off 76 and that you could well have misread it for him being 76, in which case it would make me around 67 in your mind. Of course the 66 would come from your rank stupidity. I mean, to top it all, it also seem that you could well have miscalculated his birthday. According to the timestamp, Moz posted this at:
"RE: Congrats to South African fans
July 28, 2014, 00:08:01"

Now, as you are aware, he is located in the USA (Michigan?) and assuming that the time on this site is SA time, it would mean that he posted that at around 15h08 yesterday (27 July). That would make his birthday today (28 July) and not tomorrow (29 July)and make his age 67 already, and not 66.

So, doos (note lower-case) you have no idea what you were talking about in any case.
